Great product. Just what I needed for the finishing touches. Backpacking has been interesting at times try different things that work and dont wont. These stay very secure to the forks. Detailed instructions are provided. Sure if you ride off a cliff smashing into something they could break but highly doubt that's your biggest concern. Side note- I bought the dry bags from sea to summit 8oz. They ran out of their 5oz dry bags and needed something that would work.

I like these cages a lot. I use them to carry water or other items I need when bikepacking. I have taken them on some rough trails and they have survived and also held the items in place.

I have 2 and they are awesome, will see how they do in really cold weather but 300 miles so far and doing great

Bottom tab broke off after a couple uses with a 48oz water bottle in place. Still works fine just worried now what else might break. Still a decent huge cargo cage. Mabey better used for tents or other bike packing gear that dont weigh to much.

The design concept is good, but in the real world of bike packing and touring, it didn't work so well. it broke. The plastic parts are brittle and weak, thus I snapped off two plastic arms on the device. Clearly, a more rugged aluminum stuff cage will suit folks who will be off grid or on the road for days or weeks, and who need reliable equipment. The Gorilla Cage is a light duty device that needs to be pampered. If you buy it and use it, packing and unpacking daily, you will break it.
