Better than I'd hoped for
Came ahead of when it was supposed to arrive, and product was better made and easier to use than expected. I'd been nervous about making soap with this kind of mold, but it's actually super easy to put together before pouring liquid soap in, and then to keep stable and upright during curing.

Good mold
Cons-1. Had to place it between two heavy objects to keep it's round shape after filling it up with my soap recipe. It started to form an oval shape.2. Also had to use clips it leaked into the edges. It didnt leak completely out but it did leave a ridge line in my soap, you should be able to see it in pics. I waited until my soap was thick and full trace to prevent leakage but it still leaked.Pros-1. So easy to snap together and unmold2. The price was right for the size and compared to other places that sells the sameOverall I love the mold and plan to use it many times!

Not bad, Buy Office clips also
We were super excited about trying this mold in our studio. When we went to pour it the mold dose not come with clips or anything to hold the mold together. With that being said we poured the soap into the mold and.......well.....all out the bottom of the mold it ran. Since then we have found black office clips to be perfect and love how the bars turn out! If they could design it so it dose not come apart that would be wonderful!

1 yr, 6 uses - won’t hold contents
I bought 2 of these molds 1 year ago. I have only used them about 4-5 times. Now when I pour my newly mixed soap into them the sides split apart. First time it happened both molds behaved the same way. After you fill them the sides split apart. It spilled lye heavy liquid all over my table and almost my leg. The next time I used them I tried to wedge them in a container for more support… but both failed to stay together again. If you buy these, be very careful and definitely have the molds inside another container so it they pull apart it won’t harm you or your floors. Etc.

Seal is weak
Bought this as a mold for making polenta, thinking if it will hold hot wax, it will probably hold hot grits. Well, it exploded, leaving a hot grits mess all over my counter. I had to augment it with metal clips, which is what you see in the picture.

Creases
The quality of the silicone used to make this mold is unquestionably good. Its weight is solid and the 'feet' at the bottom do a really good job of helping it remain stable and upright (though it does need to be in a box or vase that can support it). Sadly, it also left two creases (one opposite the other where the mold snaps together) on my column of cold process soap. Things like that can usually be rubbed out or filled, but in this case the creases are just too wide and deep. I will be returning it.

Love it!
I'm very pleased with the mold. I do reinforce the sides with binder clips as I do all column molds. I had been using a PVC pipe but this mold saves so much time with the unmolding. The PVC pipe had to be put in freezer before unmolding but this is so much better!!!
