Don't hesitate to purchase Something Sweet -- the price is small relativeto what one gets in return -- gorgeous and delectable desserts!

I am NOT a baker by any stretch of the imagination. Baking generally intimidates me and I used to only bake from store bought mixes. I have followed Miriam for a while on her blog Overtime Cook and when I heard she was coming out with a cookbook, I was very excited. Although hesitant, I decided to go for it and pre-ordered the cookbook along with a Bundt pan. In the few days since receiving the book I have made fruity pebble cookies, fudgy brownies, and pretzel cookies, all of which have been huge hits! Best of all (& perhaps most surprising to me) is that the finished product I made ACTUALLY looks like the picture I see in the book! All recipes have a beautiful picture. I want to make everything! Would make an excellent hostess gift, or treat yourself! Highly recommend!

Every recipe I tried became an instant favorite in our house. Additionally, there are gorgeous pictures of every recipe. Definitely my favorite cookbook.

I bought the cookbook after going to a live demo and watching Miriam in action. All over social media I watched how consumers were singing her praises, and said, I need to become a fan too! The idiom, "easy as pie" (of course pun intended!) comes to mind when I think of desserts now. The recipes are uncomplicated, and easy to follow. The results are professional looking, and home made tasting. What else can you ask for? Thank You Miriam for an awesome collection of all things wonderful!

I admittedly like baking more than cooking but this is absolutely my most used cookbook. Its my go to for Shabbos desserts, birthday cakes, new baby meals, and many other occasions. The recipes are either amazing, out of this world, or, if they're not ravingly fantastic, good. There is not one single recipe that isn't delicious.

Of all the cookbooks I own, this has to be my most used one. I have made quite a few things, and most have turned out well. My 12 year daughter who loves to bake, uses this cookbook constantly. The recipes are easy and the ingredients used are sure to be in your cabinet. The author gives great ideas. Like using a pastry brush to oil all the nooks and crannies in my bundt pans, from purchasing the individual packs of soy milk to minimize waste. The Pictures are beautiful. I work in a library and constantly recommend my patrons try this book out. Many have gone on to purchase this useful and easy to use dessert cookbook. I have given this as a gift to a 18 year old who promptly made 2 items for a party and raved about them. This makes a great gift for a shower present or hostess gift or a gift just because!!The only recipe that I did try, that I did not care for, was the no margarine chocolate chip cookies. I found the use of cornstarch taste overwhelming. Otherwise, the Pumpkin Crumb, Fruity Pebble Cookies and Smores Cake, are a few of my Family's favorites.

I absolutely love this cookbook! I own many cookbooks but none of them are as enjoyable as this one. The desserts that were chosen for the book happen to be really delicious. The directions are very clear and the recipes are very easy to prepare. There are wonderful baking tips included as well which make it a perfect go to cookbook. Once you see all the fabulous dessert photos, you're going to want to make everything in the book. I highly recommend purchasing Something Sweet!
