I ordered 2 pair, size 13 and size 14, hoping one would fit. I'm keeping one pair and returning the other because of a defect in the inside, side of the sole. There is a cavity with a fairly sharp edge that is uncomfortable. I'm guessing it was an air bubble when the sole was cast. The boots are well made, comfortable, sturdy and good quality. These are heavy duty boots. I like the finger size pull holes on each side at the top and a slightly protruding bump on the back of the heal to aid in pushing them off with the toe of your other foot. Dunlop invented and made the first inflatable rubber tires in 1888, so these boots have a great history.

First order was huge but I returned them and now I got the most comfortable pair of rain boots I've ever owned. Functional eazy to put on. Arch supported a nice surprise. I wear them all day. and really appreciate the way there made. I truly love my boots. ( Little toxic smelling at first.) I truly think you're going to like these too... 👍🏼

I used the shoes for crabbing, worked well for the purpose. The size runs big, good idea to size down .

These boots are a little heavy, but very well-made. I also recommend wearing socks when you put them on so they are much much easier to get off.

Perfect fit. Thick tread. The uppers are flexible, so they are very comfortable against your calf. I have had two pairs of rubber boots from different manufacturers that tore in cold weather, so we'll see how these do in freezing temperatures, but so far so good.

I purchased these boots less than a year ago. I wear them for about an hour every day while cleaning horse stalls. I had to add insoles to make them more comfortable. I also noticed as the weather got colder that ice and snow would build up in the heel tread to the point where I would have to stop and dig it out. Then today one of the boots came apart at a seam in the back just above the heel. This is more a high stress area like the top of the toes tends to be. I am disappointed. I usually can get 2 to 3 years out of my barn boots.

This review is for the DUNLOP Chesapeake Rubber Boots, Steel Toed. The boots are a good quality made from a one piece mold. The pull holes are reinforced so there should be no concerns about them tearing at the stress locations. I wore steel toed work boots for several years, these are reasonably comfortable, although there could be some padding at the toe area, even with a proper fit, the steel toe can become uncomfortable. I purchased the boots for the rare occasion when I may have to go out in the rain to adjust pumps, which doesn't take a lot of time. If I had to wear them for a full shift, I don't think they would be suitable. For short amounts of time, they are ok. The boots slip on easily, the arch support is minimal but functions ok for a one piece molded boot. There is a rubbery smell to them, I don't think it will last and it isn't overwhelming if it does. If you're looking for something to wear for a short time, perhaps an hour or two, no problem, beyond that they will get uncomfortable. The boots seems to run large, I wear a size 10, and that was to big, my foot would slide back and forth. So I exchanged them for a size 9, they fit better and the way a boot should. If there were more padding in the toe area, I'd give these boots a 5 out of 5 star. They are lightweight and at a very reasonable price point.

Ich habe jetzt nach drei Jahren die Stiefel nochmals gekauft. In den drei Jahren haben sie mir treue Dienste geleistet und sind nun in den Ruhestand gegangen. Ich laufe in der Woche im Durchschnitt damit 17km über Steine, Geröll,Wurzeln etc.(Waldwege,Feldwege,Asphalt,Donau...) Irgendwann gibt das Material eben nach, Grade bei scharfen Steinen. Zu betonen ist hier das unschlagbare Preis Leistungsverhältnis!! Wichtig zu wissen ist das es sich um einen Normalen Gummistiefel handelt d.h. Draussen Kalt - Stiefel Kalt Draussen Warm - Stiefel Warm Draussen Warm, Wasser Kalt - Stiefel Kalt Die Stiefel sind dicht und halten echt gut was aus! Erlebe es öfters dass Stiefel schlecht gemacht werden, da es meist am Anwender hängt, hier ist zu erwähnen dass die Regen/Matschhose ÜBER die Stiefel gehört und NICHT in die Stiefel! Kommt von oben Wasser rein wird's halt nass. Zusammenfassung: Produkt und Verkäufer sind top und empfehlenswert! Immer wieder gerne.
