IMPORTANT INFO
So some important things to know when buying this cage: This cage is not for hamsters/baby mice (basically the teeny rodents) and certainly not for rabbits or chinchillas, as it is much to small.. if you only buy one cage. The construction of this cage is simple and if you buy more than one pack of these cages walls, completely customizable and then you make a hutch big enough for rabbits and stuff. I got it for two rats which is the max amount I would put in a cage this size. When I first got my rats they were babies and the smaller of the two was able to slip through the bars. No amount of zipties was going to fix that. But he's bigger now and it's no longer a problem, and otherwise it's a very cute and durable cage, just be cautious about what animal you put in there. Also bonus points for having a detached bed pan. It's healthier for rodents.

Not great for long term
Honestly it’s just a super cheap product. I purchased to house baby Opossums short term. The directions on how to build are vague and once you start getting everything put together it starts to break apart so assembly took some time. Definitely not sturdy. If you apply too much pressure (like trying to snap them back into place) to the joints it will collapse. Same with the wheels. One of my opossums already escaped twice because the bottom door is barely attached on the left and not attached at all on the right side. That being said, if you’re housing short term and have patience while building, you’ll be fine. Definitely wouldn’t recommend for long term.

READ THIS DONT BUY
crap cage. don’t know why there’s so many animals listed on their description but this is NOT suitable for any animal, but maybe some mice. not sturdy at all. so difficult to clean. messed up the doors too bc instructions suck. very very small and the ramps are so dangerous, so wide of holes my poor babies feet would get stuck and they could get hung. could’ve gotten a muchhh bigger cage for just a little bit more and I wish I did.

Super cute
We got this for our two baby rats. This cage is super cute, easy to assemble and the ratties love it. I know it's a little small for them, but they aren't in it all the time. We took out most of the fabric pieces after a while because they were difficult to clean but other than that, this cage is perfect for us.

Some of these reviews are not good. Listen here.
This was quite a difficult project to put together and it definitely took over two hours. Consider it a fun project though. The directions are simple and straightforward if you just use common sense, but it takes me a long time to process things. You just have to make sure the cage bars are going the same way (vertical the way the doors are). It fits like a puzzle piece so if you do it properly, the zip ties are not needed but are definitely handy. And if you’re not a rough baboon with them, the white clips that hold them up shouldn’t break. I don’t know why people are saying it’s flimsy because the clips are impossible to get off and stay on extremely well once put on. When you have only three walls up, you have to be gentle until you can secure it all together. Just take it slow. It even comes with a little wooden mallet to hammer them down if you don’t have the strength to. I appreciate the padding it comes with for the ledges so it’s more comfortable. Wheels at the bottom are detachable and have a break setting to keep it from moving if needed. The two entrance cages pieces are also very helpful. I don’t see anyone else doing this, but I put the tray inside of the cage which might make it a bit smaller but I don’t care, I want a pit to put the bedding in so my rats are comfortable (along with a rodent safe tray liner underneath so they’re not expose directly to the plastic). This seems like a nice size but will have to see, I’m getting two female rats. I will order another set to attach if it is too small but with all the extra levels it seems like they’ll have enough space.

Not worth the price
This cage is cute but it is way smaller than it looks in the pictures. It is definitely not worth the price. It also took a long time to put together. The directions are not very descriptive and you have to figure it out. The description says this cage is for ferrets and it is NOT a good cage for ferrets because it is too small.

Cage is tiny. NOT for ferrets.
Absolutely minute. Says it’s for ferrets and bunnies but that’s a joke. I‘m in college bringing two ferrets and was looking for a cage a little bit smaller than their oversized FerretNation cage from home and liked the look of this cage. Could not for the life of me find any review for it anywhere on the web, so figured it couldn’t be that bad. Pictures are bad and make it look larger than it is, and it specifically advertises as a cage for ferrets. This is a joke. This cage is probably a great size for a single rat, or a guinea pig or something. It’s smaller than my dorm mini fridge. Keeping just one ferret in this thing would be cruel and inhumane. I was concerned immediately upon seeing it but decided to complete assembly before making any decisions. It was easy to put together, but chips of paint came flying off the whole time. I hung up a ferret hammock in it to better demonstrate its size. I will be returning it. Please, for the love of god, if you have a ferret or similar, don’t buy this. And please, for the love of god, if you’re the seller reading this, remove “for ferrets” from your description. EDIT: Seller reached out to offer a full refund with no need to return, etc. Not sure what to do with it now, but might use it to keep ferret kibble & treats out of the reach of my two hungry men. Great customer service & fast shipping, cage was just totally inappropriate and poorly advertised.

I don't understand all the bad reviews
I'm very thankful for the review I had read that discredited the bad reviews, and in pretty good detail. I bought because of that and I'm glad we did. It was bought for my son's two rats and it works great. By eldest son put it together and had no problems what do ever and it probably took him about 30 to 45 minutes to do so. One of the white plastic pieces did break, but they had sent extra and my son did state he had to get a little forceful and that's why it did. It comes with a hammer, we gave it to my two year old. I don't know why it has that hammer, I don't recommend using it. We didn't even bother. So I do recommend it, I think it's super cute and works well for our little critters.
