Good boots!
These boots are great. I have large feet (12.5 w/ a 5E width and they fit well. As always, there's a break-in period, but after that they are comfortable and I use them as work boots. The only difficulty for me is that with the size of my feet and ankles, it's a little difficult getting my foot INTO the boot if I don't loosen the laces quite a bit. Unfortunately that means that I can't just leave them tied and use the zipper for easy insertion and removal. Small price to pay however IMO.\I've been using them for some time now (I bought them in September of 2017) and they are still holding up great. In fact, this weekend they saved some of my toes! I was using a metal trimmer blade on my gas-powered trimmer (like this one https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004Q0GFRW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and I got a little careless w/ my footing. The blade hit the toe of my boot and "dinged" off, leaving a scuff in the toe of the boot, but also leaving my toes intact. As of now, these babies no longer "owe me a dime". lol

Looking forward to Getting my "Rocky's"....
I used Rocky boots for work down in S. Florida for years in law enforcement as my duty shoes. There were extremely comfortable, light weight and wore well, (usually got about a year out of them) and that was wearing them all the time, both for regular shifts and a TON of off duty work, which required me to be on my feet constantly. Wore the high boots for comfort and support and LOVED them. I'd say "it was a boot that felt like I was wearing slippers".Wearing them for some 60-70+ hours a week obviously I needed a great boot and Rocky's were the ones most used.Loved the side zippers as well since lacing them up all the time in other boots was a royal PITA....UPDATE:OK...boots arrived in 2 days...so that was fast...Boot appears to be tight and will require breaking in, but fit to my size, so don't expect to be able to wear these boots right out of the box. Break them in for a while before wearing them for extended period of time. But quality is very good.Zipper is tight, but using a bit of lube on it (I used some gun lube I had handy) and the zipper loosen right up.Had to re-lace them up to adjust properly. Also these boots tend to fit on the bit snug side. But that could be because they are new as well as they seem to be a bit stiff as well. All in all they are a very good boot at a very good price here on Amazon. Now back then, Rocky boots were more or less a one or 2 style boot, but it appears they've expanded their lines with more products, but hopefully the quality is still there.I'll update these boots once I get them.

The "wide" size isn't very wide, but overall, a well made boot for the price.
I ordered the same size I order in any other brand of boot, and found these to be kind of narrow for a "wide" boot. I ordered the wide version and was worried they may be too wide, since I generally wear a medium, and a wide in only a few brands. I found the opposite. They seem narrower than the Medium Rockport boots I prefer, and also the Magnum boots I used to buy. I do like that they come with a nice shine on the toes already, and that they are supposed to be waterproof. They are slightly heavier than Rockport boots, but no heavier than Magnum boots. The Rocky boots seem better made than Magnum boots, or any of the budget brands I've ordered and returned after finding they were not well made. The zippers are sturdy and stay zipped up, even though there is no little flap to prevent the zipper from moving. The laces are heavy-duty, and the rubber soles are rugged feeling, with good traction. I've been wearing them for a week, and they seem to be breaking in somewhat, but they still feel a bit tight. I'll search for an extra wide version if I buy Rocky boots again.

Long term reliability...
Long term reliability...is most important to me. These boots are very comfortable and fit very well. I have had these since September 22, 2017. Sadly, I'm forced to retire these now because the stitching that holds the shoelace module to the rest of the boot has come undone. There is hardly any wear on the soles and are far from worn out. This is a very disappointing development as this undone stitching has caused the boot to fall apart. Maybe someone from Rocky is available to comment on this poor reliability.

It was a rough break in period with these. For the cost of them I would say they aren't bad but I have been used to bates for the past 7 years. Funds were a little low when I needed to order new boots so I tried these. I work as a CO and I am on my feet for 8-16 hours dealing with situations on the fly and after 16 hours in these I can definitely feel it. I give them a four star because I didn't buy them expecting them to be the same as $180 boots, for the cost of them they are reasonable. Personally I will spend the extra from here out and keep these polished for when needed.

So far, so good
When I first put these on I thought they were sized too small but I wore them around the house and in about 15 minutes my feet settled in and they fit true to size. One of the side zippers gave me some trouble but a couple of drops of oil fixed that. I have yet to wear them in extreme cold but I expect they will be up to the challenge. They go on and come off easy and are light weight and comfortable.Since my initial review I have worn these in snow & rain and bitter cold. As I expected these boots function very well. They hold a shine too.

Nicely made, but I would not recommend.
I wanted to love these boots. They look good, are well made and offered everything I was looking for in a boot Unfortunately, I just couldn't wear mine, because they were so uncomfortable. After reading the reviews I ordered mine a size and a half larger than I normally would and they were still too tight for comfort. I also found mine dug into my ankle in two places, along the zipper and the side of the calf. Lastly, they were hot. For my money, definitely not a four season boot. Everyone is different, but I just can't recommend these.

Very Good Boots with just a tiny issue.
I usually wear size eleven but read the reviews, took a chance and ordered 11.5 W.They fit perfectly. So far I am very pleased with these boots, although the right boot squeaks a little bit.I'm hoping it will wear in after a bit and quiet down. If it does I would definitely rate them Five Stars andlikely be buying another pair of Rocky Duty Boots.

Not bad!
I was very pleased with this product when I got it, however it does seem to be wearing out kinda fast compared to my other purchases. Still it is okay, but durability and reuse are very important to me.

Affordable Duty boot
For the price a reasonable boot. Comfortable on the foot, light weight. The only negative is the upper portion of the boots lacing system is not eyelets their placement causes unusual flex in the upper portion of the boot that can cause presure points on the ankle

feet get hot
usually take a 9 but if I could re-order I would get a 9 1/2. seems like a good boot but much hotter than my military jungle boots
