A great saucepan.
Having spent some time researching and buying different cookware, I am pleased to report that the CIA line of cookware is well-made, graceful, and friendly. This saucepan is balanced well and the handle is comfortable in one's hand. Also the price point is a little easier to take; there are some cookware lines which seem to just push the customer's button, as if the most expensive pot will somehow be better than any other. The CIA item feels like care went into its design and construction.

Culinary Institute of America makes the best cookware in my opinion. I like it better than All-Clad. It's heavy and feels like it will last a lifetime. It cleans up easy and is easy to cook with. I got the 2.5 quart saucepan but have other pieces as well. They are all great.

I would love to have attended the Culinary Institute of America. However, that didn't happen. So, the next best thing was to try one of their sauce pans. It was more expensive than most similar pans but, worth every cent. It has perfect balance, weight and heat distribution. After using this saucepan I now plan to replace most of my cooking pots and pans with CIA products (I am also planning on winning the lottery). If you love to cook you will love this saucepan.

Love the CIA pans. Work very well and all perfect stainless steel. No non-stick to come off. Should last for my entire life.

These pans are costly but so worth it!! They really clean well ( no DISH WASHER) and the food cooks better in them. My frying pan I use makes the BEST omlettes!! Make sure you purchase a lid too, they all dont come with a lid.
