KOH-I-NOOR MAGIC 3406 Jumbo Special Coloured Pencil in Blister Pack

The comfort is okay but not great since they are thicker than normal pencils. The quality of the pencil is good. The come pre-sharpened. You need a large pencil sharpener to sharpen them. The functionality is perfect as far as I can tell. The colors do not get smeared together but are still visible when you color. The ease of use is very good.

What I like: The well made pencils, the mix of colors in each one. The expressivness you get from using just one of these pencils.

Super fun to use!

The pencils are a gift and they are perfect. However, one of the reasons we subscribe to Amazon Prime is because items we order are delivered to our door. I didn’t appreciate that my item was placed in a locker and I had to go to pick it up. We are both approaching 80 and it is no easy feat to drive anywhere. I thought lockers were used for people who requested their items be placed in a locker; perhaps they are working and worried about porch pirates.

I like these jumbo sized, triangle shaped pencils. They are all different from each other so I get 5 different color effects. I am able to sharpen them in the large hole of a two hole sharpener, at least the one I have. No complaints about the pencils performance. They are fun to play with and give new dimension to adult coloring books. These remind me of the brands tri-tone pencils in the way they deposit different shades on paper depending on how hard you press, if you twist the barrel, the angle, etc. The biggest problem I have is the crazy high price for 5 pencils. But I paid it so there it is. Sucker born every day. There are less expensive ones on the market that work exactly the same. I deducted one star because of the price. 4 stars.

Wanted to try these for so long, found they are somewhat fun for detailed coloring pages but I got a less detailed, larger area coloring book and they are more fun there. I’m trying to enjoy the randomness of how color goes on, I’ve seen others do more controlled coloring with these and I’m not trying to think too hard when coloring (art therapy for all my illnesses/symptoms) and I’m really happy with the look and enjoyment I get from them. Wish they were more budget friendly but the cores are thick and I go a long time between sharpening.

I had these as a child, found them and brought them to work for my clients. When they were used down to little nubs I just had to look for them and found them! They are awesome colored pencils and the kids LOVE them!
