Fits a Jansport Driver 8!
My daughter has a Jansport Driver 8 that she used for less than a year and on the first day of the new school year, the tread on the tires already started to peel off! Jansport has a limited lifetime warranty but you have to send the backpack back; she needed it for school so that wasn’t an option. Found this item recommended on a Reddit thread for people with the same issue and I highly recommend it! A quick 5 minute replacement using a Phillips screwdriver and she’s got a smoother rolling backpack. Great value, the size is perfect for the wheel well. There is no noise when she walks with her backpack! I used 3 washers (included) to prevent the wheel rubbing against the inside of the wheel well. No need to buy another backpack!

High Quality, Smooth, Quiet, and Sturdy
These replacement luggage wheels are at least as good, if not better, than those you are replacing. High quality rubber and heavy duty bearings make these quiet and smooth with no pulling to one side. Amazon ships the new wheels, new axles, parts, and 2 hex tools in a ziplock. Two sizes of axles and extra washers are included so you can install the wheels and not have any drift or wobble. The axle hex screws even have a dab of loctite. My twenty year old TravelPro had wheels with cracking rubber and the manufacturer no longer provided parts. I used a pair of calipers and a straight edge ruler to measure the old wheels. It is important that you get the measurements correct to within a few millimeters. For removal and replacement, I needed a hand-held drill to drill out the old axles, a philips screwdriver, pair of pliers, pair of 4 inch vise-grips, a sorting tray, some blue tape, about 2 1/2 hours, and plenty of patience. Your experience will vary and if you are not the "handy" type, or if your luggage is really cheap, this will not be your best solution. I spent approximately $15 and my spare time, saving the cost of new luggage.

Did the job with some adjustments
We were on a recent trip and discovered that the outer softer plastic layer on the suitcase wheels was coming off. The suitcase is a Pathfinder full size that is about 20 years old. The wheels are slightly more than 80 mm. The wheel housings come off relatively easily with phillips heads on the outside and acorn nuts on the inside. However the wheel axels use a rolled over edge on the inside and are set in a cutout on the outside. I eliminated the rolled edge using a drill and then tapped them out. The kit includes everything that I needed except: 1. I had to reduce the diameter of the axel pin heads with a grinder so that they would fit in the cutout, 2. The width of the existing wheels at the bearings is more than 27 mm so I had to add a thick washer to each side to take up the space (the washers that are included in the kit are too thin), 3. For additional security, I used red high strength loctite on the axel pin threads. It took about two hours from start to final cleanup. The main slowdown is the learning curve. Definitely worth the effort if you want to avoid the cost of a new suitcase.

Nice replacement but needs DIY experience / expertise.
Appears to be as good (might be better) as the OEM wheels. It did take DIY expertise / skills. Use will tell if these hold up to the airline luggage "gorillas" which was why these replacements were needed. Yes, measure twice (or even thrice+) before buying.....

My roll-aboard is like new!
Recently, in the airport (of course) the original 15-year-old wheels on my carry-on started delaminating, thus making that loud clack-uh-clack-uh-clack noise while rolling down the concourse. These replacements were a perfect fit, easy to install, and make my carry-on roll like brand new. Very happy with these.

If there was a ‘0’ Star Rating, I’d have left that
The wheels themselves seem sturdy and durable and they were relatively easy to install…but that’s the end of it. The axel mechanism is faulty in that the nuts holding the wheels need to be so tight in order to keep the wheel from wobbling and the bolt from loosening, that the axel assembly actually gets hot to the touch from the friction. I found this out after my first trip to the airport after changing the old wheels for the new. I noticed that the wheels seemed to be wobbling. Luckily I brought the Allen wrench provided, but when I went to touch the outside of the axel, I literally had to jerk my hand away, the axel was so hot. Incredibly poor design. Would never recommend this product to anyone except to someone I didn’t like very much.

VERY PLEASED!
These wheels were a perfect fit on my Oakley roller luggage bag. American Airlines destroyed one of my wheels and it only took 5 minutes to replace them with this wheel kit. It even came with installation tools and shims for the wheels.

Worked great on High Sierra luggage
I was able to drill the one side of the axle to get by the peened end. Then I tapped the axle out. The assembly was pretty straight forward and now I should get several more years out of this bag. I have a couple more pieces that I will be ordering more wheels for so I am excited to save these from the bin.
