Cat Stax The Purrfect Packing Puzzle Game

Great little puzzle. I use it therapeutically in my job working with children ages 6-17yrs who have trauma-related delays in functioning - such as short attention spans, agitation, ADHD, distractibility, fidgeting, etc.. The playing cards increase in difficulty level so that the simpler challenges can be used with kids that have more significant delays or are younger. It's a great assessment tool to observe levels of frustration tolerance, perseverance, patience, responses to encouragement and praise, and levels of motivation to succeed. for therapists who are providing in-home services, this is a really convenient little game to travel with. it is a little larger than a pack of playing cards and I can see there would be some creative ways in which caregivers can be involved in the process of helping a child solve the challenges

This game is a lot of fun and really quite challenging. I was a little concerned that it would be too easy, but it definitely isn't! It isn't so challenging though that it becomes frustrating, it is very fun. I love the little cat pieces, they are cute. The cats, case and cards are of good quality and there are puzzles on both sides of each card. As some other reviewers have mentioned, putting the cat pieces back in the packaging is of itself quite challenging! I took a photo of them before I first took them out to make sure I could put them back easily, but have attempted to put them back without referencing the photo and it was rather tricky :)

This is a cute game if you love cats (like I do). It is very easy to learn and great for killing time. Not to terribly challenging though.

My adult wife loves puzzles. Last Christmas our Grandson got this as a gift. My wife kept using it. I got her one for her January birthday. Now they discuss solutions via video phone. I have heard there is one called Dogpile???

Challenging spatial concept puzzles. Great for doing on the coffee table while watching TV or listening to a podcast. Small parts means it is probably not good for travel, don’t want to loose one of the cats.

This game is both fun and challenging. It is the perfect gift for people who love cats and enjoy keeping their minds strong.

Not only is this adorable with the cute little kitties, but it’s educational.Okay, so for a mom who happens to homeschool, this is a plus. When I need to keep one kid occupied while I work with another, this is perfect. While some of the family is occupied with a task and I want to keep my daughter occupied with an activity that I approve of, this is perfect. And it’s so cute, she loves it. All the kids want to get involved! The cards that come with the game range in difficulty, so it’s a great fit for all ages.And I happen to have a little fun with this gme, as well!! Who says a 43 year old can’t have a littl fun with the kids?

I bought this for my ten-year-old daughter who loves puzzles. She's very advanced and in the gifted class at school. With that said, this was not a good purchase. I thought you would stack the cats up inside the case so they couldn't wiggle around (like those iq ball style puzzle piece case games). What you actually get is cards that you set on a table with a grid pattern printed on them in the middle. You then lay out your cat pieces to fit inside that grid. At the top of the card that tells you which cat pieces to use. The cats don't fit together very snuggly, and there's no way to keep one from being moved if someone bumps the table or what not. We opened on Christmas morning, did two cards, put it away and it hasn't been opened again. Even I as an adult did not enjoy it.Although I feel the game is silly, the pieces and the case are high-quality thus 3 stars.I did purchase this during Black Friday for half price of the normal. although, I do not believe it was worth the money.No, I would not recommend this and I would not purchase it again.

Perfect game for recess, a rainy day, or a brain activity. Any age can do this with the help of the solution cards. Siblings or kids of different ages can play and help each other. Also amazing for cat lovers!

A pleasant, simple puzzle game to play alone.Cat- themed 'fit the blocks' type puzzle. Much the same as any other, with cats.I'll be honest, my son has similar games from a different well-known brand, and I prefer the presentation of their cases, they are more self contained and convenient to play on the go for around the same price.This one requires a table or other solid surface to play on. Fortunately, I am most likely to play at home so not a big problem.I guess I am paying for the cat theme and that's ok.
