I bought a set of these little bowls to use for mixing my gansai paints. They're absolutely perfect and just what I needed. I wanted to see a set hands-on before stocking up. Because they're so perfect, I just now ordered a second set. I want to be sure I have a good supply of them in case they become one of the "out of stock--don't know if we'll get more" like other of my favorite art supplies have done. I work in smaller sizes---I don't do huge paintings---so these little bowls are just perfect to use for my paints. They're about 3 inches across at the widest point and the base is about 1 3/4 inch. Made of beautiful pure white, smooth ceramic material and easily cleaned, they're just wonderful. I heartily recommend them. If they stay in stock, I may order one or two more sets over the next couple of months.

You know how when you've found just the right brush you're slightly in heaven for a while? Well, finding this palette was the same for me. I've gotten tired of the various plastic palettes and have been looking for a suitable ceramic one for a while. I found several in art supply stores but they were all too big or too small, and heavy, and generally overpriced for what they offered. I wanted something with several wells for mixing different colors but that doesn't take up too much space on my work surface. This palette fits my needs perfectly. It came very well packed to avoid breakage during shipping, and without any significant imperfections that might effect paints or brush work. The wells are deep enough and also wide enough for most brushes. The palette is heavy enough to be very sturdy but not so heavy it's a burden to lug up and down stairs for cleaning. I won't outgrow this palette any time soon. My only wish is that they make a smaller size for travel because I might take the chance on being able to carry it in my travel bag.

These are great little paint dishes. They are not too huge, and stack nicely. They wash out well. Surface is smooth and holds paint well as you are mixing (no beading up). I like these and use these way more than I thought I would. Also, at times I have used almost all of them at once, so it's nice to have many since they don't take up much space when stacked up.

I purchased two of the rose palettes and loved them so much I purchased the square ones as well. - Excellent size and shape. Large enough to be practical, without occupying too much real estate. - Rose: 19 wells of varying size, perfect for mixing many different colors in various quantities. Square: 8 wells, 4 small and 4 large, perfect for larger pieces where I need a lot of one color. - Very easy to clean. No staining! - No corners or vertical edges. Walls have a gentle slope. Paint (I’m a watercolor artist) puddles beautifully instead of clinging/beading all over the place. - Walls are high enough to mix without worrying about splashing or contaminating adjacent wells. - Nice and heavy—it won’t slip or move around. Not ideal for painting en plein air, but I wouldn’t want to risk chipping them anyways.

I'm not sure about durability yet (I'll update if it breaks) but it's heavy and super easy to clean. It does have a ridge underneath from a heart so it wobbles a bit but I don't really mind it. I primarily use it for mixing gel polish and I once left some gel mixture in there for about 2 weeks, in the sun on and off, so it was crazy sticky and thick. A little alcohol cleaned it right up, no residue left and no damage. I mixed super pigmented gels, that stain my nails if I don't basecoat thoroughly, and it didn't stain. Really happy I got it. I can mix gels in one section and keep gems in other parts. The only thing is that it attracts dust and hair like crazy but it's a minor thing. I clean it with a dry paper towel or cotton ball without a problem.

Super cute, and perfect for my watercolors. Some of the bowls finish is rough, but otherwise it's okay.

This palette has been great for me! I love having all the divided sections and deep wells for mixing up my watercolor paints. It cleans up great. The only downside, to be expected with porcelain, is that it’s a little heavy so not great for taking places since my bag of materials is already heavy enough. Although, I have to admit that it’s so worth the weight for me that I am taking it to my classes and removing other items to lighten the load. 😊

These porcelain cuties are perfect for keeping my watercolors separate and clean while I’m working. They make a pleasant *clink* sound, and seem sturdy. So much nicer than plastic, and a great price. But that’s not all! I cook, love my kitchen gadgets, and eat a lot of dumplings, so I’m going to order another set to use for dipping sauce, and for mise en place when I’m setting up my ingredients. They’re perfect for parsley and minced garlic and all those other little things that can get lost on the countertop while you’re prepping. See also: cute!

Es hemosa su confección. Y sus cuencos de diferentes tamaños y formas hacen de este godete un placer por sí mismo al pintar. Me encanta. Más aún porque su material de cerámica impide la pigmentación en él y el mezclado es más fácil.

This is the best pallette I've ever purchased. It's big enough for what I need and very sturdy and easy to clean. Its meant mainly for watercolour and gouache . I wouldn't use it for acrylics.

Love this palette for watercolour painting, multiple sizes wells for different amount of washes. Feels great no sharp bits in the glazing

Je l'ai acheté pour la taille variable des compartiments, qui permet de faire de petits mélanges pour les couleurs d'accent servant aux petits détails et des mélanges de plus grande quantité pour peindre de plus grandes surfaces (ciel, herbe, etc.). Je l'ai acheté pour l'aquarelle, mais il peut être utilisé pour la gouache, l'huile et l'acrylique. Se nettoie facilement!

Nice quality. Great functionality. Shipped promptly and arrived quickly. Very pleased. Best for home use. Would not recommend for travel or plein air as it’s solid and mid sized.
