Size was perfect for our small tortoise.

I got it for my ball python but it was too small. I also didn’t like the lip around the top, sides and bottom. When I would pick it up to get my snake out she would get stuck on the edge.

Edges are sharp, smaller than description. We opted to keep it for a decoration in a Christmas village than use it for our tortoise hatchling.

Purchase this to use as a in between warm/cool hide for my son’s leopard gecko. I was super impressed with how realistic looking the moss and stone look. My only grip with the hide is it has very sharp edges on the inside and bottom. At first I wasn’t going to use it at all because I read geckos like to sometimes rub themselves on the edges and if they’re too sharp it could hurt them, but after playing around with position of the hide it sits a little under her substrate which covers the sharp edges and she’s been fine. She prefers her warm hide of course but she will climb over it from time to time and it looks really cool in her tank.

Not big enough for my turtle

Bought this for my leopard gecko. She absolutely loved it and made herself comfy right away. It's on the smaller side, but I knew that. She likes to cuddle up. ☺

My tortoise likes it in there but, he gets stuck when he goes in too far. I always have to lift it up to get him out.
