This works like a charm on our very noisy Pomeranian. She barks everytime the doorbell rings or someone comes in. Now, all we have to do is pull this out and she stops barking. Just the sight of it reminds her to hush.

We have been buying this product for our two moggies over the years, but the last two purchases were not up the scratch. Pellets look and smell different, and cats hardly touch their food now, with one having bouts of diarrhoea every now and then. Swapped for Orijen today and they're happy as ever again.I am not sure whether the recipe has been changed, ingredients are inferior or the product is counterfeit. Regardless, wasted money on two 7.5kg bag but won't be buying any more.

In den letzten Jahren haben diese zusätzlich zum Nassfutter immer eine kleine Schale Trockenfutter gekriegt. Wir nutzen das gängige Discounterfutter, was überwiegend Getreide beinhaltet. Nach vielen Jahren reagiert nun der Magen auf dieses eher unnatürliche Katzenfutter.Nach Rücksprache mit dem Tierarzt sollten wir das Trockenfutter jedoch nicht gänzlich abstellen, da die Ernährungsgewohnheiten und das Sättigungsgefühl bereits am Trockenfutter orientiert war. Also musste ein hochwertiges und verträglicheres Futter her.Unsere Suche endete nach einer langen Odyssee beim Applaws Trockenfutter und wir sind hellauf begeistert.Das Applaws Katzenfutter hat einen sehr hohen Fleischanteil (hier Hühnchen) von etwa 80%. Die restlichen 20% sind gleichermaßen mit Streckmitteln versetzt. Diese sind im Vergleich zu Standardfutter jedoch unbedenklich.Wir verfüttern das Trockenfutter mittlerweile seit etwa 4 Monaten. Unsere Kater erhalten pro Tag etwa 140g Nassfutter + 30g Applaws Trockenfutter. Vor dem Futterwechsel mussten sie häufiger Futter erbrechen und hatten ein eher mattes Fell. My cats have always loved this and since the recipe change are still eating it ok, my main issue hence the removal of one star is the change to the placement of the seal which used to be at the top of the bag and has now been moved further down on one side only. This means it is very difficult to reseal as the top of the plastic bag cuts into the hand when trying to close the seal. Applaws reply to my complaint was to put into a different storage container! "Applaws please listen to your customers and put the seal back at the top."

Reading the reviews i was sceptical about ordering this however i decided to take the plunge and order it and i am proud to say i am not regretting it. Moon was an outside cat who lived in our garden for a few weeks and had an ear infection and got tormented by kids so we decided to bring him in. His coat felt awful almost like grease and we only fed him Indoor Gocats and water his coat got better but still not the best it could of been and still feeling greasy. Since I decided to keep Moon. i looked at reviews for different cat food such as Felix,Go Cats, Purina etc and most of them came with bad reviews. As we fed Moon on GoCats costing us £2 for 828g lasting us half a month to a month as he was eating 60-120g a day. I decided to try this and as mentioned some reviews made me think twice so i dived in and after receiving it the box was huge... i was not expecting the size. I fed it moon and he went crazy over it and dived straight in. Licking is lips after having one bite. I only have to give him between 40-80g a day or so and he will be good all day. This pack should last me 2-3 months or so depending how much i feed him. the problem i had is i cant subscribe and get the item the next day. Now after 1 week of feeding him this Moons coat is feeling amazing, Soft and shiny. his active and extremely happy

This Applaws has to be revolting because not one of my four cats has eaten a morsel from their bowls during the past two days. They are now clearly very hungry, mewling and returning to their bowls, still this food is not being consumed. I usually buy Royal Canin but was interested in the 80/20 ratio of chicken/veg this food is said to contain. I'd have thought the greediest of my cats, Cobalt, would scoff it down... much to my amazement, even he refuses this! Four cats who have now not eaten for two days...? Something is wrong here. Either the numerous 5 star ratings are based on a different variety or the batch this 7.5 kg bag full came from went haywire. If I could return it I would. Opened I'll have to throw it in the scraps recycling bin or leave it out for our local foxes and hedgehogs.

I tried our two cats on a small bag of this stuff and they loved it. However, when this huge bag arrived it looked and smelled different. The cats both hate it and would rather go hungry than eat it. It also doesn't agree with their stomachs...but we now have a very expensive sack of food. Looking in more detail I notice that the small bag says 'chicken with extra duck' where as this bag just says 'chicken'. Our cats are not picky eaters and have never turned their noses up at any of the random foods we have fed them over the years.

Bought this for our dog (of course).Arrived in a nice little cardboard envelope.The tag itself is really strong and sturdy, our dog even put it through the chew test as shes never had a tag and it jingles against her collar so tried chewing it to begin with. The ring to attach it to the collar is also of a very durable quality, perfect for any active dog.The details engraved on the tag are really nice and not the sort that will easily wear out over time.We only had one line of text on one side being our dogs name, they adjusted the size so it doesnt look odd being too small. All the text fits nicely into the circular shape. The customisation allows for plenty of lines of text to fit in those all important details.I can deffinalty see this tag being the sort that will last her a lifetime.

I had been giving my cat Whiskas for years but about 2 years ago he started having constant diarrhea. Vet was unable to resolve so after this I did some research online to find Whiskas was really bad and they put a lot of crap in their foods. Having had an incontinent dog in the past who was prescribed a high protein food I chanced buying this. The chronic diarrhea stopped within about 3 days of switching. Its been a life saver. Just wish it wasn't so expensive.

This is an absolutely fantastic product, really well made and it has been thoroughly tested! The surface is a little scratched now which is to be expected when it’s been banging against his collar etc. But no more than usual. Definitely worth buying this one which a actual quality rather than a rubbish one from PAH which is potentially more. Really good thick tag with a good weight. Comes with a super strong key ring loop to keep it on the collar. Would definitely buy again if needed. If you email them or enter in the comments box when purchasing what you want putting on it they will do their best to do what you want. They did everything I asked.

Great quality cat food and brilliant value (£28 at time of purchase). Grain free and 80% chicken Applaws is one of the best cat food brands there is and I'm glad to have discovered it.Our 3 young adult cats are thriving on it. They have this as half their meals and the rest is high meat content wet food. Applaws wet food is incredible too (smells quite delicious, the same as any fishy meal for humans!)Despite having one keen overgroomer who was previously prone to bringing up hair balls this food seems to have reduced it.The bag is fully resealable with a snap lock though I personally would find it tedious to do this several times a day. It's a very big bag for lifting and tipping into a cat bowl so I opt to decant large amounts into another air tight container and top up once a fortnight.Ideal food for using in puzzle feeders to keep the beasts entertained and motivated to work for their meals.With our 3 boy cats (who probably eat a bit more than the portion size) it's going to last approximately 10 weeks as half their meals each day, so 30 weeks for 1 cat (7.5 months).However, no complaints about that, just worth mentioning. We will definitely buy this again!

My dog already has a solid brass pet tag which I ordered on Amazon.Because I like to put on a clean collar after my dog has been groomed and wash the other one, I ordered another brass tag rather than keep on putting the one tag on two different collars. Unfortunately though, when I checked my past orders on Amazon, it didn't quote what size of tag I had ordered before and so the one I ordered this second time ended up bigger than I thought. Not a huge problem and I couldn't be bothered to return it for a smaller one. My fault because I should have measured the one he already has to make sure. Anyway, these tags are great and look good and LAST.

These are by far the best tags I have bought for my dogs and cats. Most are either too flimsy or too chunky, with the engraving difficult to read. These are just right. Would highly recommend. Well packaged, delivered quickly.

I tend to buy quality cat food in bulk when it's on offer, so when I saw these at at £30 instead of £50 I almost went crazy, I decided to get two bags for my cat. They have a really good date on them, and this food is top quality so I'm really happy. My cat normally eats Encore and Harringtons,so he enjoyed these alot too. The bags are resealable, but I have a smaller container that I fill up and I fold and clip the packet shut until I need more again so everything is fresh. Excellent food!

At this point I will have to admit that I did not realise just how large a bag 7.5kg is, somehow the fact that biscuits are much lighter than wet food had failed to register when I ordered it.However, the cats are pleased, as the like Applaws biscuits. We always have biscuits available for them, as we are not always in at the right time (from the cats' point of view), and this is an acceptable backup for our three very fussy Birmans.In fact, these are the only biscuits that one of them will lower herself to eat, and the other two are much more inclined to eat these than the cheaper brands.I like the idea that they are mainly meat, as that seems to be what a cat is designed to eat, and they like the taste. Either that, or they checked the price on the invoice, as I find there seems to be a direct correlation between price, and how much the cats like it.I think it is well worth the extra price, as the cats will actually eat it, so I no longer feel as guilty when I come home a little late - I only get the "bad owner" treatment, rather than the "cat murderer" treatment I got with other brands.

My cat loves chicken Applaws dry food so I thought I would buy a 7.5kg bag to save some money. However as other reviewers have reported this product has changed, the kibble size is smaller, around 6-7mm compared to around 10-12mm in the last 2kg bag I bought. My cat is very reluctant to eat it unless I mix it with another brand of dry food. I feel like I have wasted my money. I have reported it to Applaws via their website- I will wait and see what happens.
