Allant"Opal" Women's 16 Inch Slim Laptop Business Tote Black

I had a Bagellini for my 14 inch laptop. When the computer died, I learned that they no longer make 14 in. laptops with sufficient power at a moderate price. So, I had to buy a 15.6 inch laptop this time. So farewell to my cute and fuctional Bagellini bag. Thus began my search for something comparable that didn't cost as much (since it seems that laptops do not outlive their bags) didn't weigh a ton, and was feminine without being girly. Man oh man, this is it! Attractive tote/shoulder bag style in basic black with purple lining. The shoulder strap is not adjustable, but it's the right length for me to have on my shoulder (I'm 5'6") and if I let it dangle from my hand instead, (carrying like a suitcase) it still is 7 or 8 inches above the floor. Keep in mind you can't put a ton of stuff in here. The computer, the power cord, a clutch with your cards and money and lipstick, and a few file folders or a spiral notebook is about it. The small zip pocket on the outside will take your phone or a small tablet (like a Kindle Fire). The padding is fine for everyday purposes. I repeat, I love that it is so lightweight (I mean, laptop is hard enough on your shoulder as it is, you don't want to add to that any more than necessary) and it's looks.

Background -- I use this bag everyday, to & from work, and across headquarters to multiple buildings for meetings throughout the day.The size is just right: the straps are long enough for even a long torso, the slim design keeps me honest on how much "stuff" I really need to carry, the main compartment fits my laptop, a notebook, a few file folders with papers and the outside compartment fits a few markers, pens, my iPhone 6 Plus and my Blackberry.The price can't be beat: I was comparing this bag to one other more expensive bag and am so thankful I gave this one a try first. No need to spend more for all that you get with this one. Don't think the price means "cheap" because it's inexpensive but HIGH quality.Lastly, I've gotten so many compliments on this bag -- I'm actually here to get the link so I can share it with a co-worker but thought I'd give it a review while I was at it.

I investigated several options for carrying my laptop and files back and forth from home to office before buying this one. I LOVE this case for several reasons. It is roomy enough for my 15.5-inch laptop and a few files (there are two compartments, which keeps the files separate from the laptop). There is also a small compartment on the side for a mouse and a few pens, a small pad of paper, etc. The padding is ample, so I feel like my laptop is well protected. The thing I love the most about this case is that I can put it over my shoulder or rest it on top of my rolling case and hold on to both handles simultaneously (this works much better for me than the small handles that are on the majority of neoprene "sleeves"). It looks professional, is reasonably priced, and is ideal for my purposes. I have had the case for just a few weeks, so I cannot speak to its durability, but it is so reasonably priced that it is worth the investment even if it isn't especially durable. Based on my experience so far, I would highly recommend this bag!September 2017 update: I have had this laptop case for 9 months, and have used it almost every day. While I love the style and professional appearance, it has not lasted as long as I had hoped. I noticed that the nylon is starting to fray at the base of the bag (see photo). Maybe I shouldn't have expected great durability for the price, but I admit that I'm disappointed. Time to try another bag...

This is great Laptop bag. I got this a few weeks ago as a christmas present for my mom. The bag feels very durable and it's kind of made out of a water-proof type material. So I can imagine it's quite easy to clean off. The straps are a great length and won't feel hooked up under your arm. The inside is lined with sort of a deep magenta fabric, also that water-proof type material. It comes with several compartments for holding papers, cords, pencils, etc. The bag can fit almost any standard size laptop and of course tablets. Overall it's a very compact and stylish laptop bag that won't ever look bulky.

Shopped reviews a while before choosing this particular bag for my MacBook Air. Fits beautifully with a little room to spare. Clean, tailored look for carrying around all day long, without being too girly (although a woman, I'm not a purse person). Looks professional for work and practical otherwise. Front pocket comfortably fits phone and small iPod. Purple lining is quite bright, but it's on the inside, so who really sees it? Sewn in lining band to secure computer further, which I find helpful when also toting a few thin file folders. Looks like it costs more than it did - quality seems fine to me (although a couple of reviews concerned me beforehand).

This is a great inexpensive bag. It won't hold much more than a laptop, but that is exactly what I wanted. I needed a replacement for a bulkier bag I was using and this works very well. It doesn't have any pockets for small items on the inside. It does have a little fabric divider on the inside so a laptop stays to one side and papers or small books can go on the other side. There is an external pocket rhat is great for some smaller items. I also love the bag's material. Very easy to wipe off if it gets dirty. Overall great bag for the price.

What a great bag! After extensive research reading reviews on every laptop bag I could find online, I decided to try this bag to fit an oversized dell laptop (15.6") which doesn't fit in many bags. It fits beautifully! I really like the slim size and light weight - makes it easy to carry with a purse and grocery bags. I forget I am even carrying a computer. Fits several file folders and my extension cord. Very durable. My coworkers have commented on how expensive it looks yet this was only $20! I love the purple interior. Actually I love everything about this bag.
