Great product.

uses this regularly to straightenr the vanes bent by our lawn guy and his trimmer. A bit more expensive than the plastic combs, but it lasts and lasts.

I found this tool to be useful. You need to work it gradually wiggling the fins into shape, so feeling out the right technique is required.It's solidly constructed and it was also very useful in cleaning off the dust buildup on the evaporator coils.

Okay, first off the item description was not correct when I purchased this item. So my review does take that into account. This item does not have "6 interchangeable heads" as was the first line of the description when I spent the extra money to order this item. This item is a bunch of metal fingers that you adjust the "slide" up or down to control the distance between the fins you are trying to straighten. These fingers are crimped into a metal pipe with a soft rubber grip on it.It is very difficult to straighten large areas flattened out on my air conditioning units fins. Don't expect it to slide easily and magically the fins look like new again. You can make them better then they were so that you have better cooling, but it may not look pretty.The packaging for my fin comb was this: the bare tool thrown in a large envelope that contains a sticky label with the product title on it. When I purchased mine, there was an image of the tool in a plastic hanger or something. I received no instructions or other packaging. For all I know it was one of the cheaper versions with a cheap computer label stuck on it and thrown in the envelope.So if you need to straighten the fins on your radiator or air conditioner unit you can probably use this to accomplish it. But you may be able to find one of the lesser expensive ones that will work well enough for you.

Must have for your ac kit.

This is total waste of money .I got one of those cheap plastic fin cleaners that work a lot better than this thing !Got it fot the fins on my ac unit.Doesnt work at allIf you try to force it you bend and damage the fins .Total garbage !

Had to modify this tool to be of any use. The tines are tightly packed together in two rows making it impossible to comb an AC condenser. I removed an entire row of tines, fanned them out and put a more appropriate bend on them.
