I use this thing once a week to make homemade applesauce! It's suction power is great, never had an issue. I do find it semi difficult to figure out how to set it properly. If you don't line the apple correctly on the prongs, it can offset the core attachment.. but I'm learning. We have a pet rabbit, so I dry the peels in the oven (super easy: set oven to 275. line baking sheets with parchment paper. Spread peels evenly, slap them in the oven and in about 4 hours or so....dried apple peals. Picture attached.) I also learned to line a baking sheet with parchment paper, to catch the peels as you go, and place it under the device. Also cuts down on cleanup. (Picture attached). We live in the country so the bowl of apple cores is thrown out into the field for the wildlife. Throw the apple "meat" in a pot and make yourself homemade applesauce. (Stockpot..slap the apple meat in, add a bit of water.. I don't measure but if I had to guess...1/3 cup. Sprinkle in cinnamon, and sugar if needed...again I don't measure. And some apples are sweet enough you don't need any sugar. Set it on low and let it simmer for a bit until apples are mushy and use a handmixer to get the applesauce texture you want.. boom applesauce). I have not used it to peel anything other than apples, so I can't speak about using it for other things. I would buy again and recommend to a friend.

I used this when I made homemade applesauce for the first time ever. GAME CHANGER! Works very nicely and is adjustable for apples of all sizes. Cut my prep time in half. Would recommend!

It’s so easy to work

Works like a champ. My wife loves it. Makes peeling apples less tedious and is a well made device. Should be something that could be passed down to grandchildren.

The first time I used the peeler it worked up to a point, then it just gouged the apple. I tried a second (and third apple) and the same thing happened. Finally, I ended up having to take the apple out and put it in backwards just to get it all peeled. The suction was no good either. I’m very surprised that so many other reviewers had a great experience, because the machine I received is horrible. I would like to get my money back!

Replaced old one works great

This is a good product, i can tell it would work well. However, the bolt that holds the blade is so tight I can’t adjust it to be aligned or change the blade. (And it comes with extras so that is a shame) I will have to contact the seller if I can to see if I can get another and send this back if I want to slice my apples properly. :( I also wish it had been packaged better to cover and identify the sharp blades, as I almost grabbed them while removing it from the box.

Kids live this. Great product. Well made.

I was very pleased with this item, as it peel, core and slice apples all in one go, saving a lot of work and time, and it’s very easy to use. The only problem I had was that I didn’t have the strength to take the core out of the machine once the Apple had been sliced, if you are a lady on your own, I can see how this might be difficult to use on your own.
