The movie “Groundhog Day is undoubtedly funny, as over 18,000 reviewers wrote on Amazon. I want to suggest two ideas. First, we can watch the film and enjoy it for its acting, plot, and humor. Second, we can do that but also learn from the story, seeing it as a parable teaching us a lesson. The show tells us about a man in a town he dislikes, among people he mocks, in an impossible situation. Every day he awakes in the same situation. It is February 2 each day. He meets the same people each day. He can remember the prior February 2 days he experienced, but other people do not. After a while, he decides to take advantage of the unusual situation. He uses it to hurt people he dislikes, to seduce women, and to steal. As time passes, he realizes he is unsatisfied with what he has been doing. He begins using his time to help other people. He saves lives. He helps people in need of help. He makes life better for people. He discovers that he enjoyed these experiences. We do not experience his impossible situation. However, like him, we can use our time to further our interests for good or bad.

Ottima qualità audio/video del Blu-ray, in inglese con un ottimo 5.1 Surround DTS-HD ma in italiano in stereo per mantenere lo storico doppiaggio italiano originale. Film capolavoro del genere commedia natalizia con uno straordinario Bill Murray, all'epoca all'apice della sua carriera, e una straordinaria Karen Allen. La storia è una rivisitazione moderna del classico "Canto di Natale" di Dickens ambientato in questa versione nella New York degli anni '80. Imperdibile.

I have been looking for this film for years. I was nervous that it was a Spanish product but with a bit of fiddling it plays perfectly in the original English version. A wonderful performance from Kay Kendal and a thoroughly entertaining film.

Bellissimo film natalizio con un mitico Bill Murray. In questo film è praticamente uno Scrooge dei tempi moderni, un uomo cattivo e votato unicamente agli affari, che farà la conoscienza dei 3 fantasmi del natale passato presente e futuro. Un'altra aggiunta alla mia collezione di film. Spedizione perfetta

In un'epoca di continui cinepanettoni, converrebbe andarsi a rivedere film come questo o "Una poltrona per due". Un classico degli anni 80 che merita.

Una delle versioni più originali e divertenti del “Canto di Natale” di Charles Dickens in una nuova veste in Blu-ray che rinnova una già buona edizione in Dvd, con video nitido e pulito e buon audio italiano.
