Excellent waterproof cold weather boot at an affordable price
I was looking for a warm pair of boots I could slip on in a hurry to take out the trash or snow blow the driveway without taking the time to lace them up. These have been more than great for that. I recently have started using them more than my high dollar lace up winter boots because how easy they are to get on and how warm they keep my feet. I’ve taken them Ice fishing in 0 degree temps standing on the ice and snow and my feet stay warm and dry with a good quality sock. I wear them in the garage or around the house when its cold or muddy. I wear them when I shore fish to keep my feet warm and dry and I can eaisy slip them off and put on my tennis shoes when i get back to the truck. The tread is great and provides great traction in the snow and ice, although a pair of ice cleats really helps on the slick ice. They can be a bit warm if its not cold outside. I find them reasonable to wear as long as its not warmer than 60 degrees outside, otherwise my feet get to warm. I purchased these boots on prime days and got a great price on them. Before I bought these, I had visited the local big box stores for a pair of waterproof boots and everything I found was over $100. When I saw these on sale, I bought them based on their reviews and price and couldn't be happier. I've used them a bunch this winter and they are holding up well. I imagine they will last a handful of winters more. The only negative about these boots is they only come in whole sizes. I wear a 9.5 and I ordered a 10, they are a bit big all around, but manageable. I wasn’t interested in ordering a 9 to find out they were to snug and have to return them and miss out on the prime days price. To remedy this extra room, I purchased a $10 pair of felt insoles that help provide a bit snugger fit and add extra warmth. I also wear thick winter socks and that helps snug them up. The slip on style of these boots allows my feet to move around slightly while walking, I wouldn’t recommend long hikes or running in these boots.

Great boot: Not sure its rated -40 degrees
I bought these to deer hunt in and the occasional snow boot. I live in Indiana. I was hunting (stitting still) in 25 degree weather with 15mph winds and my toes started getting quite cold at the 2 hour mark and I had to add an adhesive foot warmer on the bottom of my socks. If you're Walking or stalk hunting, these boots will keep your feet warm. I could be wrong, but I doubt these are rated to -40 degrees unless you're continuallly walking around to keep circulation flowing and wearing merino wool socks and polypropylene sock liners on your feet.I really do like that the liner is thick and is removable, over the calf, and for a rubber boot has a a medium aggressive tread. I also liked that the boot shaft up around the calf had generous spacing for large calved people and I could still stuff my pants & thermals inside the boot. I hunt in some rolling hill terrain and my foot did not slide around to where I could not keep good traction in the steeper areas.I have not gotten a chance to test the waterproofing, yet. when I do, I'll try to remember to come back and give feedback.Overall, great, affordable, insulated boot. I'd buy these again for my weather and needs. Another hunting buddy of mine, bought this same boot, same size 10 in Kahke Green and he says "ditto" on my comments.

The best I’ve had in a long time
I’ve been using other companies for boots of this type and finally had enough of cheaply made garbage so I started looking at brands that were new to me. Came across Kamik and gave it a try. Awesome boots. Hearty, durable, well made, warm as hell, inexpensive.I’m outside all day, every day and in all conditions. I beat the hell out of them and no issues at all. Well priced and well worth the money. The fit for me was perfect. Even with winter socks they are snug but well fit. That said, don’t plan on hiking in them as that’s not what they’re made for. Hunting, farm work, snow and wet and they’re perfect. Completely waterproof. I’m probably going to buy another pair because companies always discontinue my favorite items before the ones I love wear out.

Kamik Men's Hunter Insulated Boot
I was happy when my boots arrived a day earlier than expected. As I looked at them I liked the look and feel of the thermal liner and envisioned a South Dakota winter with warm feet. I slipped them on and they fit perfectly...on my feet. The calves were an entirely different story. There was no room for my pants inside the boot much less heavy socks or thermals. I briefly considered wearing them directly on my bare calves but realized they were such a tight fit that they were digging in to my skin. I reluctantly sent them back since they appear to be a well made product at a reasonable price. I normally wear a size 7 1/2 W so I ordered a size 8. There was no option for width or half sizes. I guess I will have to pay more for my boots at a brick and mortar store since I have found that none of the on line retailers seem to offer wide widths or even mention the size of the upper portion of a boot. If you have muscular calves you would be wise to do the same. On the bright side, a quick call to Amazon and they e-mailed a return label and it was enroute back to them within an hour, no problem.

Perfect for chores in slushy weather. Buy slightly large for socks.
I love this boot! Not only are they warm and waterproof, but the stiff sides mean I can step in and out of them when my hands are full.I bought my Kamiks at an end of season sale 20 years ago figuring they were so cheap on sale that I could gamble. Twenty years later I still love them but the warm liner had worn out, so I bought new liners. I'm good for another decade or so.They are perfect for slipping on even over bare feet to walk the dog in the snow, bring in stovewood, any outdoor chores in messy weather. Not hiking boots, but I have worn them for a mile or so comfortably. This purchase was for my wife. This model does not come in women's sizes (WHY NOT? Why are all the women's boots more for look than functionality?) so we guessed that a men's 7 would fit. They do and she loves them. Dry, warm feet no matter what. This is a great product.

Great Boots
I bought these to use while shoveling snow. The boots are just as good as advertised. They keep your feet warm, keep the snow out, and fit as advertised. I recommend these boots.
