For 5 star hummus, start here
I have been making Hummus for years, and it has always been tasty, but recently I got a copy of Zahav, read about Soom Foods Tahini, and remembered many jars of not-very-appealing tahinis I've used in the past. So I bought some, used the Zahav recipe (which has more lemon and more tahini than the Paula Wolfert that was my standard since forever), and wow, the result is just amazing. So this time I bought 4 jars instead of 2.

Wow this is good!
I just took my first taste of this tahini and found it amazing. I compared it side by side with my local supermarket's canned version from another company. There was no comparison. Unlike the chunky supermarket can that needed a ton of stirring, the Soom was smooth and spooned out easily. Unlike the supermarket can, the taste of the Soom was mild with no strong aftertaste. It was simply delicious. I can't wait to give it a test in hummus!

It's pretty easy to mix
Just delicious! Completely pure -- nothing but sesame seeds. And you have to mix any tahini, but this one doesn't have a huge sticky glob at the bottom of the jar. It's pretty easy to mix. I got this because I was so frustrated trying to open that tahini that comes in a can. How nice to have an easy open jar!

Good product but there was a bit of misleading information ...
Good product but there was a bit of misleading information upon my research, it says that you don't have to refrigerate after opening and others say you have to. I don't refrigerate because I did refrigerate the other bottle and it seems to separate the oil and the product itself. The taste is good and there are hundreds of recipes via interest and facebook so it does help a lot.

Love this Tahini
This my second, maybe third, purchase of this product. I was introduced to tahini by a friend...I'd never even heard of it, and now I can't be without it! Soom Foods tahini is wonderfully creamy and tastes fabulous. I like to mix it with avocado and spread it on a wrap with either salmon or strawberries. Mouth watering yet? I love this product!

Smooth hummus, but not good flavor
This made some of the smoothest hummus I've ever made but I didn't care for the flavor. I prefer pretty much every Lebanese Tahini in the flavor department over this.

Really excellent product
Really smooth and creamy (first tahini I've ever bought that wasn't separated). Delicious mild flavor, no bitterness. I read about this in "Zahav" and made hummus with tahini I could get locally first and it was very good, but the batch I just made with this tahini is outstanding. You can really taste (and feel) the difference.

Best Tahini I've ever had
I love making all kinds of hummuses from Peanut Turmeric Cumin to the Butternut Squash and Tahini Spread from Jerusalem:A Cookbook. And my go-to salad dressing for greens like kale is a tahini one. But until I ordered this tahini from Soom I didn't know what a difference really wonderful tahini makes. Soom tahini is smooth, easily mixable and has none of the harhsness and separation (and hardness) of the usual store tahini. I'm going to branch out now from hummus and use the Soom cookbook on their website to make tahini a part of my baking and cooking.
