I have a ton of fine textured hair. I have purchased numerous hair "thingies" in the past and they don't hold. They slide out out they sort of hold but the style doesn't last. Not with these babies. They hold y'all. Seriously. Buy them.

These lovely hairpins are well-made, beautiful, and easy to use. Plus, they are a wonderful gift item for friends with long hair!! I'm so glad I ordered them, and plan on ordering more in the near future!!

Wanted to reduce use of hair ties to minimize breakage. These work great except for the silver color that have a bump in the mild or something that catch a few strands of hair when inserting into a bun. Otherwise, very strudy and do what they're made for.

I have waist-length thickish hair which I usually wear up, and have been using hair sticks for several decades. Most of my sticks are hand-crafted, wood with beads and other decorations, just beautiful--but that company has gone out of business now, and these metal sticks looked to be worth a try. The picture is misleading, in that the forks are longer and heavier than they seem out of context. I wouldn't wear them by the pair--one fork is more than strong enough. A fine basic fork for everyday. I'll keep the beaded wooden sticks for dressier occasions. Not sure how useful they would be for someone with fine or thin hair.

These have jagged little parts along the edges that snag my hair. Also even though they are metal, my hair tends to bend the prongs towards each other and they can’t be bent back. They smell like metal after touching them just a couple of times. Overall the tops are pretty and they’re slightly more durable than plastic, especially since they’re longer.

The 2 pairs that are “plated” in “silver” & “gold” are absolute junk! Rough sharp edges, snags & tears the hair & can cut your finger or leave metal splinter flakes in you fingers. The plain pair that has no artificial plating on them are very smooth & acceptable. Only pair worth using. So only 33% of my purchase had any real value. If I had known, I would have returned the purchase. DON’T BUY!!!

I have LONG hair - not thick, but LONG. I wear it up most times. With these hair sticks, I can use fewer hairpins and hold the bun/chignon securely.

I have long hair and I can put it in a bin in seconds with one of these pins. I’ve bought another brand but they were not as long as these. With my thick hair I love having the extra inch. Plus you can make a nice hair bun or a little cute messy bun. I can’t live with out them!

These hairpins are sturdy and quite shiny pretty!They are heavier if you are use to wearing wooden hairpins but the “U” shape and length of these pins hold better for those with thicker hair.

Returned items as quantity was poor

I found them a bit heavy for my hair. Had to put into a pony before using.

Very well made and holds my hair up all day! Wish I knew all the different ways to wear it.
