Leak proof and very easy clean

As a near-daily user of plastic lunch boxes, switching to stainless steel seemed like a step up in principle- but I’m a little underwhelmed with these, unfortunately.The larger of the two boxes is a moderate size, but it’s not big enough for my usual staple (a couple of rounds of sandwiches and a few bits of salad or veg), it’s too compact, and the curvature of the edges doesn’t help with that. Buns rather than bread are a better fit, but there’s not a lot of height to the box, so shop-bought rolls have to be squished down to fit.The smaller tub fits inside the larger, for side dips or fruit etc., but obviously that’s a large chunk of the capacity of the larger tub that then disappears.There are some positives about the make quality worth mentioning. The seal is good and tight, and appears watertight, although just for safety I wouldn't fully trust it with anything too wet unless I added extra wrapping. The rubber seal can be picked out for cleaning. The clips are solid and feel fairly reliable, but are plastic, so if treated a bit roughly or badly dropped, may be liable to break.The large number printed in the bottom of the box is an odd touch, and not very endearing, making the tubs feel like industrial manufacture offcuts rather than domestic catering stuff.After trying it out, I'm not really convinced of the advantages of stainless steel over a normal plastic lunch box, although this does seem very useable. There might be durability claims, fine, but I still expect this steel box to mark or stain after continued use and repeat washing. I would also be wary of putting it in the freezer, as where a plastic pot can bend to accommodate any ice, the steel obviously won't. Out of the fridge the box is cold to the touch, which might have freshness advantages for the food but which isn’t entirely pleasant.It’s a perfectly useful lunch box set, but next time I need to buy a lunch box, I don’t think I’ll be compelled to get another, either stainless steel lunchboxes in general nor this brand in particular.

I've resolved to take a lot more home-prepared food into work with me this year, instead of buying sandwiches and other food, which can really add up. I thought this bento box would be ideal to take my sandwiches in and it is - if you only want one sandwich. I may not be typical of your average packed lunch consumers, but I actually like to have one and a half sandwiches, which doesn't fit into this box. Also, the smaller box really is too small to be of any real practical use, unless you were bringing a few grapes with you, or some carrot batons... something like that. Maybe I'm just eating more than I should, but I don't find that one sandwich quite satisfies my hunger at lunch time. If this box was around half an inch deeper, it'd be perfect, as the stainless steel casing and the plastic sealing clips are extremely well made, good quality and really help keep your food fresh and cool. Still, if I carry on using it, it will, at least, help me eat less in 2020...Oh, and the other drawback of having a metal box is that you obviously can't put it in the microwave, whereas other lunch boxes can, so this is strictly for the use of cold food only.

Lunchbox - Good lunchbox, ideal for salads and keeps food cool.

We have tried a few stainless steel lunch boxes as we phase out our plastic ones. This one is very colourful due to the bright blue plastic clips. The stainless steel used feels quite thin, with a cheap shine, and of low quality. The clips work okay and it is watertight. But the lunch box is very shallow, with only enough room for a sandwich with two thin slices of bread. If you want to put in anything runny (like a curry that I have tried), it gets very messy. The little box inside the big box is a nice idea for things like a sauce or a fruit salad, but I do not use it often enough. A bit disappointed.

Stainless steel lunch box set, im sorry but the price for this is absolutely ridiculous it isn't mircowave appropriate so basically perfect for fruit and anything else that doesn't need warmning upYou get 2, one big one and a smaller one insideDoesn't even look good just your average box doesn't justify the price

Eine wirklich schöne Dose, nur leider wurde die kleine nicht mitgeliefert und konnte nicht nachgeliefert werden. Es blieb nur die Rücksendung. Schade. Hätte sie gerne behalten und ist auch selten in grün lieferbar

Ich finde diese Boxen super. Leider gehen sie schnell kaputt (Klappen am Deckel) wenn der Rucksack inkl. Box runterfällt. Wir hatten sie für den Kindergarten gekauft.
