A well made double sided strop which comes with some compound
A well made double sided strop which comes with some compound. I have bought a few BeaverCraft Products and find them to be well made and worth the price.

Brilliant strop
Top quality strop paddle, nice wood and leather very fair price. Solid with a large comfortable handle. The compound is a medium grit and is soft and greasy so easy to apply. You will need another compound for the other side, you could either go for a realy fine or a coarse one to compliment the medium one supplied. It's made by a company who supply wood carving tools but is ideal for knives of all tvpes. Whether you are a knife collector or just want it to keep your kitchen knives topped up you won't find a better strop especially at the price. Very highly recommended.

Helps to hone the knife edge.
Lovely piece of kit, helps to increase the sharpness of the knifes. Easy to use, good value and nice size. Definitely improved the cutting edge of my global knives.

Sharp looking strop for sharp cutting tools.
Sometimes it's quite hard to review what is essentially a bit of leather glued to a plank of wood. This however feels solid and is good to hold in the hand. Aesthetically the ash base looks the biz and the beavercraft logo is just the right size of tastefull. From a size prospective it's probably slightly slimmer than some strops you may come across but it makes up for that by its length. This also means it's a bit easier to store away in some convenient corner The leather is high quality yet quite thin. But again that's exactly what you want from a good strop. The compound that comes with it verges on the hard side and is a tad crumbally when applying. This hardly matters when it comes to the actual sharpening as it works like any other compound. I've used this to hone the edge of almost every blade I own. Whittling knives, hand gouges, my Leatherman, pocket knives and Kitchen all feel comfortable as you work them across the surface and all end up as sharp as a Hattori Hanzō blade. Not fit for purpose
Poor quality thin leather coating on top of a sponge backing. Comes away from sponge as you try and polish your blade. I persevered with it but had to concede defeat in the end. The wood went well in my log burner 😕

Only just got this but out the box and on it's first couple of uses it seems to have done a pretty good job, happy to recommend

Absolutely recommend this high quality product to finalize the sharpening of your beloved knife. The paste you will apply is a polishing compound causing metal to mirror shine after minutes of work, even the kitchen knife from local stores can be razor sharp due to the green paste, or “GOI polishing paste”, which on leather surface will do the magic. Before you understand how it works just google or watch videos. This tool is for finishing, you need grinding stone to do the main job. Enjoy your sharpening
