Good product. Worked as it should. I use it with 3/16 inch stainless steel rivets. Some of the cheaper riveters that I used could not handle the job.

Works better than any pop riveter I've ever used, and I used many in my life many with disappointment. I would buy again but I seriously doubt I will ever have to...

No complaints about this riveter. It's easy to use, fairly compact, and supports a large variety of "blind" or "pop" rivet sizes and materials, though I have not tried 1/4" SS rivets.If you're looking for a high quality hand riveter that can handle larger sizes and stronger materials, look no further.The riveter is certainly optimized for versatility over speed—a trade-off for greater mechanical advantage. Thus, it may take multiple compressions of the handles to install a single rivet.If you're doing a lot of small rivets and value speed over power, this riveter may not be for you.The riveter is made in China.

Astro Pneumatic is a high quality affordable rivet tool that will get the job done. Needed a 1/4” tool to set rivets for a power window regulator repair. Takers 5-6 pumps to pop the stainless steel rivets that I used. This tool did a great job. The only issue was that the nose was not long enough to set a rivet where the window glass connects to the regulator. Used a bolt for that. Would recommend this tool for quality, price, vale and easy to use.

Wow, I was in a jam, but this Astro 1/4" heavy duty riveting tool fortunately got me out of it. I mean, I was trying to find some way of securing the three mounting legs of this attic vent fan onto the thin aluminum housing. Well, sheet metal screws were certainly not the answer as they would typically strip out due to the thin aluminum housing. In addition, there was no option of using bolts, lock washers and nuts either as there was no quick and easy way of gaining access from behind the housing. This was where the Astro 1/4" heavy duty riveting tool came into play as the three holes in the housing were slightly larger than 1/4" in diameter. Well, because I was dealing with an obviously confined space, the relatively short handles of the Astro 1/4" heavy duty riveting tool made this job workable. Yes, I was able to securely fasten each of the three legs of the attic vent fan onto the thin aluminum housing using nothing but 1/4" X 3/8" steel rivets (which I also purchased from Amazon). You know, that Astro 1/4" heavy duty riveting tool had surely paid for itself that day! Oh yes, that is undoubtedly a well constructed and quality 1/4" riveter by the way, and something that I will cherish for years to come. If you're looking for an exceptionally good 1/4" riveting tool at a very affordable price, I would highly recommend this one!

I went with this hand riveter cause I needed something that could do bigger rivets than some of the smaller handheld trigger grip styles, but wanted something more compact than most larger 2 hand scissor like riveters. This one is 4 inches shorter than the typical riveter of this type.I had some fairly big rivets to reconnect the window regulalor to my door carrier in my Porsche Cayenne, and this took care of them no sweat. 3 squeezes each and they were done. Rivet ends can be tipped back into the bottle, or simply use the bottle to store rivets and the included wrench to switch out the tips.The tips are stored on the sides of the riveter.This is the one you need for larger rivets that require more force, but you want the most compact version!

I used it the first day to install stainless steel 3/16's rivets to repair my aluminum boat and it was easy to use.
