Inconvenient to put on, but does its job well.
It is inconvenient to put on as you have to completely take the belt out of the clasp each time since the clasp is too large to pass through belt loops. It takes several minutes each time you put the belt on to do this and re adjust it to the correct length.Once it's on, it does its job well and holds tightly. I have used it on pants no problem. I just used it to connect a condor tactical belt to a 5.11 tactical go bag and wore it through Europe for a week and it was perfect.

it looks like "rock climbing gear belt" & inconvenient to put it on.
Some people might like the look of the buckle/clasp, but for me, I hated this one. It just does not look like a belt and it looks more like some sort of rock climbing gear that is made for a belt. Aesthetically, I just did not like how it looked. Also, whenever you want to put this on, I had to take the belt completely out of the buckle/clasp and go thru the holes and then put all back on again. bit of time consuming and inconvenient. As for sturdiness and construction, Yes, probably it is strong enough to be used as some sort of hanging device when you do climbing or hiking, but this is supposed to be a belt and I think that it fails as a belt.

Decent belt
Decent belt, found it a little weird, But it does the job. Seems sturdy and strong good material. Only gripe I have is that with a good amount of force I can separate the belt simply by pulling both ends without even having to use the latches.

Nice belt, but...
I love the belt and the belt buckle. It's a unique design buckle. It fits jeans perfectly. That being said, I don't like the fact that I must remove the buckle to remove the belt from a pair of pants and the go through the whole process again to put on a new pair of pants because the buckle doesn't fit through the pant loops. I find myself grabbing my old belt because I can put it on quickly. And if you need to adjust it slightly, there's a process. I was thinking of modifying it with velcro to speed up the process.

Belt is a good belt
I like the quick release and it does a great job of holding my pants up. The way the buckle grabs it also prevents damage to the cloth of the belt unlike most military style buckles that I am used to. The only draw back is to switch it from one pair of pants to the next you need to disassemble the latch side of the belt and remove the anchor strap for the excess belt before it can be removed. Then you have to repeat the process in reverse to get it on the new belt. It's not a deal breaker but is definitely a bit tedious where belts are concerned. Overall I like the belt.

Doesn't fit pants/shorts
I want to be fair. The durability seems great and the fastening mechanism seems very good. The biggest issue is that it is a little to side to easily use with all the pants and shorts I have tried. The fastener is too wide to fit through belt loops. Even when one end fastener end is slipped off the belt itself is very tight on most of the pants and shorts I tried. I would prefer something that was just a little narrower for quicker dressing and more importantly for quicker removal. As mentioned the quality seems very good so far so I will definitely find uses for it. It just won't be used as a belt often.

Hardly a quality belt
Sorry to have to bust your bubble on this one but compared to the other tactical belts I bought on Amazon this was a one day special. I thought I was making out price wise but you get what you pay for. The webbing in the picture isn't a fair representation of what you actually get. This belt was so thin compared to my others I had to sent it back. One of the purposes of a tactical belt is that it not only holds up your pants but it supports the gear you attach to it. Unfortunately, this didn't do what it's made for

Good quality, good value. Does what it needs to do, holds my pants up!
Was going to buy a similiar belt, for 4 times the money, but checked here first. It had good reviews, so it was worth the shot.Excellent belt, and buckle too. Very good quality, and is holding up well. I use it as a trouser belt for when I open carry a weapon. No problems .Only issue is that some of my trousers have smaller belt loops, and you must take more time to thread the buckle through. ON jeans, I usually thread the belt through before I put them on, it's much easier. Most BDU style or tactical style pants are fine.
