The spec says a Max Current of 300mA. I want to use it for BOSS MT-2 pedal which requires 200mA@9V DC. Can this be used?

They've updated the product at least once now, it seems. I have three I've bought from Amazon with 2013 copyright logos on the bottom, that have "Regulated" printed above the large "ADAPTOR" verbiage, have a 300mA rating, and are a larger cube shape and are much heavier. The revised version drops the 'regulated' verbiage on the box front, has a 2018 copyright, has a 500mA rating, is a rectangular shape like in the current Amazon photo as of 2020, and is MUCH lighter in weight. Both have the exact same model number PW-CT-9V, and UPC code 0 19954 95097 2.

I've purchased 3 of the 9volt Planet Wave Adapters for my Fender Mini Twin Reverb Amps. When I plug them in, I only get a humming noise. Troy,txs

That not a question, but I'll turn it into one and try and answer that question that I just wrote. "Why do I get a humming noise when I plug my planet waves adaptor into a mini twin fender amp?"First off, does your mini twin work with a nine volt battery? Check that. If not, then the amp's broken. If yes, continue. I just checked, and the mini twin seems to be center negative, like the adaptor. Still, check to see if your mini-twin power in is expecting a center negative power supply.Perhaps the power supply input jack on the mini twin is broken?Perhaps you've gotten three bad power supplies. Have you checked them with a multimeter?Good Luck.

If I have a splitter, how many pedals max should be plugged into one power supply?

Hey got to your question late, but I agree with AJ Rugged's answer. The Planet waves 9V power adapter is designed for use with one device with a power draw of no more than 300mA. I do not recommend using a splitter for this power adapter, or any single adapter for that matter. Shop around for a power supply that will power the number of devices you will be using safely. Perhaps here on Amazon? Be safe and good luck.

Does this power supply work for my dymo label manager 160? it calls for 9v 2a.

Absolutely not. 2 Amps is 2000 mA, this supply is rated for 500 mA so it can only supply 25% of the current your device needs.

Quality product at a great price.

Great power supply! 9v/800 mA is enough mA to power at least 2 to 4 pedals. I have 2 of these on my power strip/surge protector; they power my Overdrive pedal, 10 Band Equalizer pedal, Delay pedal...& in around 10 days, a Modulation pedal. I'm using 2, 1 into 2 pedals daisy chain "splitters". Knock on wood...I've had zero noise issues...& my pedals sound awesome. The cord length is very good too...more than enough length for the average musician. I do have 1 Con/complaint/suggestion for D'Addario; the way the plug prongs are positioned on the power supply, they end up covering outlets on my power strip...making the ones being covered...useless. But, their is a solution. I will be purchasing on payday; adapter "cubes" that are 90⁰ different...so I will have access to all of my 6 outlets. They are sold on Amazon as well, 3 for around $10. My suggestion to D'Addario, is having an option, to be able to turn/click the plug prongs 90⁰...so the power supplies will be efficient for everyone...& not covering/blocking the outlets next to them. This would be an excellent option! In closing, I am very happy with the power supplies. 800 mA is excellent, & I have zero issues with noise. The price is right...& D'Addario is a quality company, who have been around for a long time.

Its ok

Good for single pedal, on a daisy chain has a terrible high pitch sound and and after a lot of troubleshooting this power source on a daisy chain was the cause. That being said works great in single device
