Good
Seems to have held up as far as I’m aware, this was for a gift as a replacement to a previous one that a family member had. They are a gardener so this is useful for cutting small objects, opening, compost bags and so on. They love the fact that it has a really good safety lock on it once it’s opened. They specifically wanted a wooden handle as they hold up better and much safer I was impressed by the quality and safety features for such a small pocket knife.

Great folding sharp knife for camping
Used it for a camping trip. Did the job. Sharp enough to cut bread rolls. It's what I wanted in a folding sharp knife. Portable and folding means it doesn't cut anything you don't want it to.

Opinel. What more do I need to say?
Opinel. If you've got/had/used one of these knives you don't need to read any further into this review.Very well priced, beautifully sharp, simple yet beautifully functional design. It's not my first Opinel knife, it won't be my last. Please don't think this is a toy town knife because of its price. It represents exceptional value for money, and is a wonderfully capable knife. Granted it's not going to be much use in a knife fight with a Viking, or to use as cutlery for a mayoral banquet.Any given knife is a tool, know it's use, purpose and limitations. Bonsai 'shears' won't help clearing brambles in an allotment, a sledge 'hammer' ain't gonna be much use hanging a photo on a stud wall...

Amazing little everyday knife!
Great and robust knife made of very nice materials. The handle, although a little small for my hands, is very well finished and has a nice feel to it. The blade is still extremely sharp after many weeks of use and is very durable. The locking system if very simple and secure. Great product!

Excellent Product Where A Small Lightweight Blade Is Required For Tasks
Opinel do not arguably have the same build quality that they had in previous years, however in my opinion, they still make excellent bang for your buck knives that hold an edge.
