MegaChef 1.8Lt. Glass Body and Stainless Steel Electric Tea Kettle with Tea Infuser

Easy to use & easy to clean--not complicated. I wanted to brew tea, not just boil water, so the well-made tea infuser is perfect! The blue lights while it's turned on are also fun--ad easier to see than a tiny button light. I like that the cord winds nicely in the base, and that the pot simply slips onto the base--no clamps or adjusting needed. This is replacing our microwave, which we only used to heat up tea!

Family members had this at one of our get togethers and I absolutely fell in love with ir and had to have it. Have had mine for about a month now and use it almost everyday. Great for heating up water quickly rather than stove or microwave. I even use it when making soup so I'm not adding room temperature water to my pot. Definitely recommend. Super easy to install, use and keep clean.

I love using this teapot. I make organic loose leaf teas in it. I had an old tea pot, but it was easy to burn my hand on it when using it. I received it 44 years ago, when I got married as a wedding gift. This new pot is well designed, it is much safer to use. It automatically turns off when the tea is made. I love it lights up with a bright blue light when it is brewing, and the light goes off when the tea is finish. The pot is not hot, so it is much safer to use. I like the loose tea defuser, so I don't have to strain the grounds out of the tea. It is easy to clean. It makes great tea. It is well worth the money that spend to buy it. The cord is a good length. I love the fact that the main part of the pot is glass. I am trying to avoid plastic touching my food and drinks. I make herbal tea every other day in it. I highly recommend this tea pot.

Best tea kettle. I make a ton of tea with this guy, it lights up when on so you know its going, it is thick glass so its not too hot but sturdy, and the price wasn't outrageous.

Just arrived today and went through the 3 cycles as stated in the instructions for first time use. Pretty blue color. Water gets hots and as soon as it's at a rolling boil the machine cuts off automatically which is nice. I was looking for a smaller kettle, but couldn't beat the price. The tea container seems to be durable and the holes are small enough that it shouldn't let pieces through. But if it does there is a mesh strainer in the spout to catch them. I bought this model because of the infuser as I plan on making brewed cacao. I'll update later if there is anything to report.

I really wasnt sure what to expect with this product because it seemed new and I'd never heard of Mega Chef before. Ive used the tea kettle now a little over a half dozen times and been very happy with it. Boils the water fairly quickly. And looks pretty doing it. I like the blue light letting you know when its on. I wish the opening at the top was just a little bigger to make it easier to get your hand in there to really clean it but apart from that, no other cons with this item. A couple times Ive run out of burners on the stove and had to make a bit of pasta. The product really isnt made for this purpose but I threw in about half a handful of angel hair pasta broken in two into the kettle, added water and turned it on. The pasta was on the edge of being done once the water boiled. I just left it in there for a couple more minutes, dumped it into a strainer and wha-laa....perfect pasta without a pan or a stove. Ive also used it for ramen and even threw in some frozen broccoli. When the water boiled, everything was done. I dont know if this will cut down on the life of the product by doing this but so far it hasnt effected it. Its actually a much quicker way of cooking pasta instead of boiling on the stove. Could be great at camp or in an RV as well where everything needs to be multi functional.

Very easy to use. Be careful taking the infuser off. It actually slides out.

Good large pot with the separate tea dispenser was something I’ve always wanted! So easy to remove and clean.
