Antec Atom V550 550 Watts Non-Modular Gaming Power Supply

Thanks Amazon for one day delivery. I was looking for quality Power supply for my gaming pc. I found few brands like corsair, but it was very costly (4k+). Finally decided to buy this American brand Antec. Product build quality and cable quality is very good. And it cost around 2k. After installation i found that my pc runs smoothly and one thing i liked is fan is very quiet and it doesn't heats up much. This is my review for 1 day usage. I hope it last long. So I feel its worth for the price tag. Go for it if your looking for a quality SMPS.

The SMPS lasted for more than 15 months.My purchased 550W SMPS was V1 not V2 latest one.So I review this about V1 after 15 moths.It serves my 65W CPU+Box CPU fan+ Radeon RX 7600+ 1 SSD+2 Seagate HDD+1 ODD.I had no additional chassis fan on LED lighting on my case so it was not supplying to those.It has 5 SATA connector.But problem is SATA power connectors are very closely assembled to each other.They should use sufficient one inch gap between two SATA power connector.So some of SATA connectors were not useful to have on it.

I generally keep my pc on for weeks straight with no poweroff and It works alright and no issues yet. And at this price point you should consider it giving it a shot and afterall its all worth it. It doesnt even make noise and keeps my pc beween 50 to 60C during heavy gaming.

The best psu for gaming i am using this psu for editing and gaming and this psu working fine more than fine the best budget psu if your looking for budget psu i will recommend this go and buy this

I'm not from a techie, I'm a doctor by profession, after 5 years of usage, my PC didn't turn on after a power fluctuation at home, one of my colleague suggested to check SMPS, i removed it by learning through a YouTube video. And replaced it with a new one.But while buying a new one, i had 2 choice one was same product as my previous smps, i.e., atom v550, another seller has v2 v550, went through specifications i realised it's same, but date of release was latest may 2023 for this v2v550 so chose this. Hoping better quality wire and cable. But to my surprise, 24 pin wires as well as power cable came without sleeve. Was hoping an upgrade, but this o felt downgrade. I'm attaching image of v550 for reference. Also PCI - E cable came without name, printed on it. I figured it out by equation 6+2slots.Overall a good experience for me to read minute wordings on mother board and fix everything.If given choice, go with Older model v550 it appears more sturdy. Otherwise packaging was top notch. Came sealed with plastic wrap. Product is original.
