HERZO Universal Surface Grinding Dust Shroud for Angle Grinders 115/125mm

I wasn't hoping for much from this as it was competitively priced, but I was mistaken.It worked really well when grinding concrete, so much so that the vacuum it was connected to was clogged up really quickly with dust. Meaning it's going in the vacuum rather than everywhere else.You'll need a good extractor but this works really well to contain grinding dust!

I had to grind a ridge in my concrete kitchen floor. Ready to lay new laminate. I bought this shroud in the hope of minimising the dust that would be kicked up during grinding concrete. I was very sceptical of it working. How wrong I was. Not a spec of dust escaped the shroud. Well worth the expense.

Really useful, saved a huge amount of dust when levelling my kitchen floor. Two things that I found problematic though, one the brushes fitted when using a 110mm Grinding Disc meant you really had to force the grinder down to compensate for the high of the brush, either that or grab a small spacer to bring the head of the disc closer to the floor.Secondly and maybe more troublesome was that even though its a universal fit, I had to grind out a small piece to get it to fit the DeWalt Grinder ( with easy adjustable collar ) taking out a 10mm x 5mm notch did the trick, wasted an hour getting it to fit, but offset by the big cost saving for a DeWalt Branded Shroud.

I had a job to do 55sq metres on my garage floor to get rid of latiance, I had hired a grinder from Jewson and this tool was going to help me on the edges to keep dust at bay. Anyway the jewson grinder conked out after doing 2 runs up and down the garage, I then decided to use angle grinder to just crack on. I ended up doing the whole floor in 5 hours with the help of an industrial vacuum. Absolutely amazing and actually allowed me to do a better job than the commercial grinder.The disc I used was from screwfix 125mm.. Also amazing.

I bought this to try and keep the dust down whilst raking out old pointing inside a fireplace and cleaning the bricks.Sadly in this situation, the shroud was too large to let the blade of the 115mm diamond disk reach the brickwork. Then later on when using a large wire wheel cup brush mean that the dust was not caught by the attached vac.I am sure in a surface grinding application the shroud will work well. Since I have now used the item I am planning to modify it by cutting the plastic so that a 115mm blade will protrude from the edge of the shroud.

I bought this some time ago but only used it for the first time this weekend. It's incredible. I connected it to my shop vac and the dust guard kept everything in. I genuinely thought I'd be cleaning for hours, but no, it was unbelievably efficient. Although I wore one, I probably could have gotten away without the need for a face mask. I'm absolutely blown away! 5 star+

Doesn't fit my dewalt grander, waste time and money.

Adapta muy bien y cumple perfectamente con su función. El cepillo que tiene alrededor de donde se coloca el disco se adapta solo en altura, evitando que se escape el polvo

Ich bin seit Jahren Amazon-Kunde. Zum ersten Mal überhaupt schreibe ich eine Rezension, da ich von dem Artikel schwerbegeistert bin. Montiert habe ich die Haube auf einer Bosch GWS 7-125. Zusammen mit einem Sauger kein bisschen Staub. Ohne die Haube hat man nach wenigen Sekunden vor Staub die Umgebung nicht mehr gesehen. Spitze!!
