Play balls help develop hand-eye coordination and promote physical activities. Introduce numbers and colors to your child, the Wonder World way. These play balls are great with our Wonder Play Tents. We recommend 400 to 600 balls for most ball pits.

Great set of balls
We bought the 200 set of 6.5cm balls to go in our Infantino Grow-with-me Activity Gym and Ball Pit. The ball pit came with 40 balls, which was really nothing, but since our son is getting more into it, we thought we'd add to it. I think we could have gotten away with the 5.5 to match the ball size that we had with the set, but the 6.5cm are really nice. I attached 2 pictures so you can see how much space 200 balls takes up (the laundry basket), the size of the holder that comes with it and the ball pit we already had (with the balls that came with it in it). We've been playing with our son in the laundry basket full of balls and he LOVES it.Pictures - laundry basket full of the 200 balls. The turtle is what we were filling (balls in the turtle came with the turtle). Second picture - bigger ball is the 6.5cm and the smaller is what came with the turtle.

Mostly Good
These balls were actually quite a bit smaller than I was expecting, well below commercial size. No biggie, but I was a bit surprised by it. I also think the price is pretty darn high for plastic balls. So far (after a month of use), none of them are crushed or otherwise damaged. The colors are bright and they don't have any yucky chemical smells. My son likes the bin better than the balls and has put just about everything in the house in it (yay!), including himself. He has found that it makes a perfect hiding place for hide and go seek when he sits down and pulls in over himself. We of course can not see through the mesh sides when he is hiding under it :)Overall I am happy with the purchase. The bin and balls all look nice and function well. My only real complaint is that I think that they cost a bit too much. $35 seems more reasonable for what we received. Happy to have plastic that is safe in the home, our family is not a big fan of plastic toys. Wooden ball pits filled with wooden balls... not a great idea. Sometimes plastic has its uses.

Balls are great, bag leaves much to be desired
I'm only giving my input because the bag to hold these balls is the whole reason why I spent the extra money on this vs the 200 without the carrying case. My problems with it: First and foremost, the bag does NOT fit all the balls.... kinda missing the point if it doesn't fit the balls. And my second issue is that there is only a handle on one side of the bag. This equates to if you fill the bag with balls, 20 or so are spilling out with the bag just sitting on the ground, then try and lift the bag (with one handle) and, as I'm sure you can figure out, the rest of the balls go rolling out. Not a big deal just make sure you don't end up in the same boat, buying them FOR the bag and then ending up having to store them in something else anyway. The balls themselves are great though! LOVE them! I suppose over the course of a few months we'll loose those 20 or so balls and then they'll all fit in the bag. ;)

Great Quality for Ball Pit, Despite Price!
Bought two sets of these balls to fill the "Intex Kiddie Pool - Kid's Summer Sunset Glow Design" pool for use as an indoor mini ball pit for a birthday party. Previous reviewers mentioned using the pool/balls for a pit for kids aged 1-2, we used it for much older kids (2-6), and it was a hit! The balls seem expensive (when compared to other cheapie made-in-China party products); however, they stood up marvelously to 17 kids, aged, 2-6, playing for 4 non-stop hours, some of this play fairly rough. We left the ball pit set up for two weeks, and our own kids played in it constantly. None of the balls crushed or dented. We have packed them for next year's indoor play season. The hampers make clean-up and storage pleasant (I've known other people to buy large packs of pit balls that come in cheapie bags - then you have to store them in garbage bags or etc). Two packs of these balls fill up the pool approx 1/4; a third set would be ideal (though none of the kids minded).

Tough, colorful, perfectly-sized and good number of balls in set
Number of pit balls in set:200 of these pit balls easily fill our inflatable baby pool (Intex Recreation Froggy Fun Baby Pool) when it isn't filled with water. Initially, I wouldn't have guessed that 100 would be too few to cover the surface of the pool. Some quick math led us to the conclusion that a set of 200 pit balls this size would be the right number. Math is such a good thing. These pit balls also transform our baby's travel bed (KidCo PeaPod Portable Self-Inflating Travel Bed - Lime) into a fun and cozy play-space. These two products go very well together. I would say the pit balls make almost two layers inside the PeaPod. When my OCD tendencies peak, I am overcome with relief that the PeaPod zips closed, keeping the balls contained so I'm not having to account for all 200 pit balls that end up behind doors, in closets, under the crib, down the staircase or somehow kicked out into the street.Quality of balls:Soft, but not flimsy. I tried to step on one to see how "crush-proof" it really was. Couldn't even dent it. Very impressive.Cost:These cost more than another brand, but we went with this product because reviewers said that these balls were crush-proof. The other brand we were considering had many complaints about dented balls that people received upon delivery, or balls that quickly got dented or crushed, and so people felt like they needed to shell out more money for more sets of pit balls to replace their dented/crushed ones.Between this six-color set and the four-color set:Since it was the same price whether we got the six-color version (this product) or the four-color version, we went with more colors. No regrets there.Added plus:The pit balls come with their own storage case, a clear zip-up bag with handle.Overall: One of the best purchases we made for our kid.
