I need one of these that goes around the whole top of the car. This thing is awesome. Easy to put on. Stays on well. Easy to take off.One word of caution: if you have a storm that turns from snow to freezing rain, you’ll end up with a big hunk of ice on this thing. Not a big deal, really, you’d have that big hunk of ice on your windshield if it wasn’t there. But here’s the thing: you can’t just pull this off like you could if it was just snow. Don’t go yanking on it. Whack the ice a bit and see if you can get it to crack up a bit to make it easier to get off.

This is an innovative product that I wish was available years ago... It saves so much time cleaning off windshield... This holds in place very well due to it has very STRONG magnets throughout the edges... Larger magnets on all four corners for added stability... I have a 2014 Buick Encore and this fit perfectly... It extends high enough above windshield on the roof so you can easily pull the cover downward, removing the snow as you pull it... The bottom edge extends enough over the hood so when you are pulling the top part down you are able to slide the whole cover down the hood to remove all the snow at once... Your windshield remains dry with this cover on and the cover also provides sun protection on hot sunny days for cars parked in the sun for long periods of time... This is a nice big cover that is sure to cover all your windshield as well as your wiper blades on a minivan. I have a 1997 Pontiac Transport and though it’s big width wise, it doesn’t matter because the doors shut fine on it. It’s a little tough getting the magnets where you want if you’re not very tall, but once in place, they hold very well. Good quality vinyl hook straps with plastic hooks.Works perfectly for my needs…

I bought this item not for snow and ice but because I had a lot of water puddled on the floor of my vehicle after some strong rains, and I wanted to see if the water was coming in through a gap in the seal of my windshield. The good news is that I did, indeed, find out it was from my windshield and now know how to go about getting it fixed.Based on other reviews, I ordered a roll of magnetic tape at the same time, because other consumers complained that the three magnets at the top didn't do an adequate job. They are right, and I'm glad I had the tape on the cover - one small section did lift up a little bit, but it was on the opposite side of where I suspected the leak. I would advise ANYONE who wants a tight seal at the top to consider doing the same thing!I drive a full-sized SUV. It was a bit difficult to get the cover attached so that all of the windshield was sufficiently covered. I also didn't enjoy trying to center the cover so that I could attach the hooks to hold the bottom down adequately reached my tire rims.When I finally took the cover off, I had some difficulty folding it again, but that may also be my own fault for adding the metallic tape over all but the little area where its magnets were in place.I'm not disappointed in the product but I'm not looking forward to having to install and remove it from my vehicle when I need to have my windshield covered. However, compared to dealing with a large puddle of water on the floor of my car (and spending money at the car wash to vacuum out the water one day and then vacuuming again the next to make sure the carpets are dry), I'll deal with it until I get my windshield seal repaired. And yes, I may find myself using it for snow and ice, or I may give it to a friend who drives to work every day and has two cars to clean off before he leaves for work.

I got this to use on a Chrysler minivan. Since I have evergreen's around my yard, I always have pine needles blown from the trees that build up on the wipers and also clog the fresh air inlets, so I wanted a cover large enough to completely cover the windshield, the wipers and the air inlet. This cover covers all that area and more! I had my doubts about the straps and hooks to hold the front of the cover down across the hood...rest assured that once the straps are adjusted, they are quick and easy to attach and remove. All in all, a well-made cover that actually does what they say. And, oh yeah, it also does a great job of keeping the snow off, too. 😉

After purchasing a number of different windshield covers for my Ford f150 and my Honda Pilot and returning them because they did not fit, in spite of being advertised to be the right size for each. This is a very good product and actually fits both vehicles' windshields and wiper wells!

Disclaimer: I followed the directions on this product to the letter and it still soaked the interior of my truck. Very angry...I have used this about 5x since purchasing. Today I went out to my truck, took the cover off, started warming it up for the commute.I'm driving for about a minute with the heat on full blast because it's 12deg out when I realize my butt is exceptionally cold.Then I see a frozen water droplet on my steering wheel. Turns out that this windshield cover was letting water into the cab of my truck for presumably the last 48hrs when we had a heavy wintery mix...the kind of stuff that leaves a sheet of ice on your vehicle...the very reason I bought this product in the first place.I am seriously angry about this. My pants and underwear have been soaking up water from the driver seat the entire drive.Even worse is that a bible my wife gave me as a gift back when we were just dating soaked up tons of water off my passenger seat.I don't know how I'm going to get my seats to look, feel or smell normal (assuming it will smell very mildewy soon).I even bought several of these as gifts for my family members. Telling everybody I know to steer clear of this product and figure out a better solution.

I put it on my car if it's going to be cold. It saves me from scrapping my windshield in the morning when I'm getting off work and it's easy to put on

The only problem is that it did not come with the mirror covers which it was supposed to
