Heavy Duty 14 Chefs Pizza Chopper - Make Family Movie Nights In A Heck Of A Lot Easier

I love it! Upfront - PK asked me to review it - likely because I've loved their stuff so far, which is true. I worked in a pizza restaurant as a teen (we used the standard round cutters) so when I saw it I realized that it was a kitchen tool that I didn't know till that very moment was a must have. I'd been spoiled by the mere sight of it as a home-use tool! In real life it's beautifully hefty and weighty and I'm still figuring out its long-term storage solution, but in the meantime I'm leaving it a little braggy-looking, blade up with a cork bumper on top, leaning against the backsplash on my counter. It's prettier, classier looking than the picture can show here. It took me a week to get my hands on the perfect pizza. Gave it the perfect bake, a minute to cool, and in 3 seconds it was sectioned professionally and beautifully, toppings no worse for the experience. As my nephew is fond of saying - it cuts "like a bosss." Easy wipe off, swipe dry, done. Wishing I had another pizza to cut.

This product is definitely a time saver when cutting pizza. I purchased it because I have worked in many restaurants where they use something similar. When the product came it was very sharp and was excactly what I expected. I immediately had to try it out so I threw a pizza in the oven to try it out. As soon as the pizza was done I gave it a minute to rest and cut it with the Pizza Chopper. It was great! I love using it and so glad I finally got one. The ONLY reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I wish it came with some sort of cover. It's a fantastic product, but it is very sharp and you have to be careful how you store it. I definitely recommend this. I have also use it to dice things and cut other food besides pizza.

I am a big time pizza eater and this is something that I have passed on to my kids. We always had a rolling pizza cutter but this is so much better. The blade is really strong and sturdy. There is absolutely no bend to it, laterally or vertically. It has enough heft in it so that you don't have to lean into it to get a cut. It is also not so heavy or big that you couldn't use one hand to wield it.I like that it has a hole in one end to hang it by. It is an unusual shape to store in a cabinet but it can easily be hung out of the way. It looks great and we use it for much more than just pizza. It works on meats, vegetables, lettuce, and herbs though it isn't made for it particularly.One note: you really need a flat surface to use it on. You may have used your rolling pizza cutter on a curved plate but this will not fit/work on that kind of surface.

I do so love this thing. im not a big fan of pizza, but the greats and grands (kids) love it so we have it way to often. I detest those rolling cutters-as I got used to one of these professionally. I use it for cutting homemade pastas and doughs, ravioli and rolled cookies, and the like. also great to thinly slice steak for salads and such. this is a quality product. prior to receiving this one, i used one that i have had for 20 years - a little sharpening now and then and I think this one will have a comparable lifespan. Top Quality piece. comfortable to use and very effective. I retired my old one to my garden shed as It makes a great weeder for plants beds edged with plastic panels, concrete blocks, or wooden rails.BUT, much as I love it, it is not perfect. My old one has a slide on cover to protect blade and Fingers while stored. Would have given 100 stars if it had a cover.

Up until getting this pizza cutter, I always bought the ones with the wheel. We eat a lot of home made pizza, which means we have to slice it ourselves, and after a while the wheel cutters break. I saw this one and decided to try it. It works really well, especially if your pizza is not too big and the chopper can reach right across your pizza, because then you only have to position the chopper and then press down like a see saw on both sides to easily cut the pizza in half. Then you change to cut into halves, quarters and eighths. This cutter is quite big, but it fits standing lined up with the side of my cutlery drawer. There is a hole on the side that you could maybe use to hang it up somewhere if you don't want to have it in a drawer.

Solid and easy to use. There is nothing fancy about it but it is made sturdy and gets the job done. The blade isn't sharp so you may have to use some force when cutting down which shouldn't be an issue as long as you are holding it right. I can see some people with smaller/frail hands preferring to use a traditional rolling blade pizza cutter of this because of the force required to cut a thick crust pizza. The hole in the blade makes it convenient to hang the blade for storage. It does NOT come with a guard or anything to cover the blade while in storage. I have always cleaned and dried mine immediately after using so I cannot say how it handles extended contact with water. Overall I am pleased with my purchase and have no issues with the pizza cutter.

This is a quality instrument! I have wanted one of these for a long time, and when I saw it on sale I was thrilled to try it. I have not been disappointed in its ability to easily cut pizza and any other food item, such as cutting a quantity of lettuce or tomatoes quickly and efficiently for tacos or salad. My only suggestion would be a blade cover for in the drawer to avoid accidental cuts. This is very sharp! I am trying to use the cardboard in which it was delivered until I think of something more clever. We're looking into vinyl edging or some sort of wood block with a groove to accommodate it.

Traditional pizza cutters are hoard on my hands and wrists. We went out to eat pizza and I saw them cut the pizza with something similar to this and knew I had to have one! NOW! That night I ordered this product. We've used it on a thin crust pizza and a thicker crust pizza and it cut straight through both of them. I also chopped up lettuce into fine shreds like the restaurants. I even used it to cut some homemade fudge. I have plans to make tortilla chips and i know it will cut through a nice fat stack of tortillas. It's versatile and works for a number of items.

Das Messer sieht gut aus, fühlt sich gut an und macht Spaß. Leider fehlt es etwas an Schärfe. Wer aber Utensilien zum Nachschleifen hat, sollte zugreifen.

Bisher habe ich immer einen Pizzaroller verwendet, um Pizzen zu schneiden. Dabei habe ich mich jedes Mal über die schwierige Reinigung und die geringe Schneidfähigkeit geärgert, da man mit einem runden Messer nicht vernünftig Druck ausüben kann und dauernd hin und her fahren muss. Meistens hab ich dann noch das normale Messer benutzt.Dieses Wiegemesser hier ist von einem anderen Schlag. Erstmal ist es wirklich groß. Für eine normal große Pizza reicht ein gut angesetzter Wiegeschnitt, maximal vielleicht 2. Der Griff sorgt dafür, dass man richtig viel Kraft aufwenden kann. Damit kommt man auch durch den „krossesten“ Boden. Das Messer ist groß genug, so dass man es auch beidhändig führen kann.Die Klinge selbst ist allerdings sehr grob geschliffen und auch die Schärfe ist für alles, was über Pizza hinausgeht, eher weniger geeignet. Kräuter werden eher zerdrückt als geschnitten. Merkt man, wenn das Schneidbrett nach dem wiegen grün ist. Dafür hab ich es aber weder angeschafft noch hab ich für diesen Preis ein Rasiermesser erwartet. Ich wollte was fürs grobe.Die Grobheit hat natürlich den Vorteil, dass die Klinge unempfindlich ist. Man muss nicht immer auf die perfekte Schneidunterlage achten, da man sonst gleich nachschleifen muss. Dafür habe ich andere Messer.Ich finde es als Pizzamesser absolut geeignet, groß, robust und leicht zu reinigen. Toll.Wenn ich mit meiner Rezension helfen konnte, würde ich mich über einen Klick auf „Nützlich“ sehr freuen. Auch Kommentare mit Fragen beantworte ich natürlich gerne, leider bekommt man aber keine Nachricht mehr, wenn ein Kommentar geschrieben wurde. Ich schaue gelegentlich nach, aber gerade bei älteren Rezensionen könnte eine Antwort von mir lange dauern.

Dass man für den Preis kein handgeschliffenes Messer fürs Leben erwarten konnte, war klar.Etwas enttäuscht war ich allerdings schon, als ich das Messer nach dem Auspacken untersuchte.Scharf ist anders!Daher habe ich der Schärfe einfach mit einem Wetzstahl etwas nachgeholfen.Zwar genügte die Schärfe danach meinen Ansprüchen, allerdings machten sich bei genauerem Hinsehen, schon leichte Beschädigungen der Schneidkante bemerkbar. Billiger Stahl eben.Die in der Beschreibung angegebenen Zusatzfunktionen, wie das Schneiden von Kräutern oder gar Zwiebeln, kann man allerdings getrost vergessen. Dazu sollte man weiterhin das Kochmesser einsetzen.Trotzdem 4 Sterne, da ich noch nie schneller und effektiver eine Pizza geschnitten habe!
