DK Eyewitness Travel Guide: Delhi, Agra and Jaipur Review: Count me in as a DK fan! - A friend loaned me her copy of DK Eyewitness Travel before I went to Cuba. Ten minutes into perusing it, I ordered my own copy. It served me so well that when I signed on for a tour of India’s Golden Triangle, I searched for a DK India book. I was surprised to find this one specifically on Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. Both times, I purchased a print copy, a good choice since we were often without internet or wifi on both trips and couldn’t research online. Both books are now highlighted, marked up and dog-eared. I like that the Delhi, Agra, Jaipur book includes areas “near” the 3 large cities. For example, I was able to read up on Haridwar and Udaipur before we visited them. I found plenty of valuable information about Rajasthan. I liked all the photos. Even though I’ve traveled and lived abroad for years, I still found the Survival Guide section helpful. The book is definitely worth the $16.00 price tag. Count me in as a DK fan! Review: If you buy one book for touring information this is the one! - Well organized with lots of pictures that further explain & inform. Good maps & outstanding architectural layouts which bring a site to life. I love the way they connect a write-up of a museum, temple, etc. with the corresponding map. It really facilitates planning.

Good reference
This is a very useful book. I previewed several India travel books from the library, and chose this one to take with me on a trip to India. It was helpful as a reference as we we're traveling.

I think this is probably a good guide if you've already been to the golden triangle ...
Very thorough, but I'm finding it difficult to follow. I think this is probably a good guide if you've already been to the golden triangle or you are there using the guide. I am planning to travel to India and really wanted this book to be an easy read, which it is not. It does however, have lots and lots of information.

The book was very helpful in preparing for our trip ...
The book was very helpful in preparing for our trip, I especially appreciated the detailed pictures and information. I read the book in preparation for each day's sights, and then again afterwards to clarify any questions.

So, So Tour of the Golden Triangle
This was a bit of a waste of money because I was on a tour to these cities and our tour guide provided much of the same information. It was heavy to lug around. I read it on the flight over and never opened it again. The book needs more depth on culture and history. I will donate mine to the local library.

Clear well written and fantastic pictures could do with a bit more info on the different places you visit if you are doing northern triangle.

Good job as usual. In my opinion, these guide books are the best on the market.
