Update: original review below.After posting the original review, the seller's customer service reached out to me. They offered to refund my money or send me a new unit. Although they indicated the product has been updated, the new one still did not hold my phone with a case. I added an additional star because I was very impressed by the fantastic customer service and eagerness of the seller to make me happy. The mount/charger is fantastic, but again, not for large phones with protective cases.First, the good. This car charger appears to be of very good quality. It's very easy to mount and unmount your phone. Once attached to the windshield, and all the pivot points are snugged, the phone stays put. I use this in an F550 tow truck and the ride is very harsh. I was concerned that this wouldn't stay put, but it does.Now the bad. I only have one criticism but its important. The description states it will hold a Samsung S10 with a case. Not even close. I need my protective case due to the nature of my job. So I was very disappointed that I had to give this to my wife (she has a S9+ with a case and it fits).Overall, fantastic product for smaller phones or larger phones without a case.

The unit seems firmly suctioned to my windshield. (I haven't had to reseat it or make any adjustments). The auto-close/auto-open feature works as advertised. (I will say that I sometimes bump the auto-open accidentally when trying to use my phone while in the holder, but it is easy to just bump it again and the auto-close regrips it.) I got the red color, and it's beautiful (matches my phone). We are considering buying another for our other vehicle!UPDATE: I lowered my review from 5 to 3 stars. It's about 8 months old now, and is malfunctioning. When I turn the power on in the car, it "freaks out" (where it slightly squeezes the sides in over and over for about 3-5 seconds a few times before giving up altogether). Sometimes, it will ultimately grip my phone and charge it; sometimes it will not. I did love the design and appearance, but I hoped to get more than 8 months out of it before it malfunctioned. :(

the suction cup is going to take the whole window with it when I try to remove it, other than that. It's pretty nice. It's very easy to bump the button and open the latches on accident though because they are touch-sensitive, I feel like a light button would be better, just an opinion.Edit: about that suction cup. It's very stuck. I cannot seem to even wiggle it loose. In the process of trying to remove it the plastic broke. It's still stuck to my window. Even a titanium card would t get it loose. Idk what they used but it's concerning. I have no idea what to do

Excellent car phone holder and charger overall. After trying a few other units, I read through the description of this model and took a chance based on it.Well they were very accurate. The holder and charger work great and with the included QI cigarette lighter adapter my phone charges before my commute is over.Highly recommend it. I actually bought two one for me and one for my wife. She loves it as well.

I have gone through a lot of these types of devices and all of them pale in comparison to this one. The charging is effortless, and the best feature is the auto close/open. It takes a little bit to get used to where the sensors are for the release, but once you know it, it is effortless to remove your phone from this.this isn't your cheap plastic, but what feels to be aluminum, so it is strong and feel sturdy. It also has a telescoping arm so you can have your phone as close or as far away from you as you desire. I haven't seen that on any other cell phone holders.If you buy a different kind, in a few months you will be purchasing this one. I'm gonna get a second one for my wife in her car.

This is still hanging from my windshield! I stuck it on the first day I got it, almost a month ago and it's still on there. The convenience of it is great and I love that you can handle it one handed. 💕 I highly recommend, especially if you like to have video calls while driving, hands free!

I really like half of this product. The vent clip works tremendously. I don't have any issues with it slipping or falling off. The pay that suctions could use some work. I placed it on my dash and later realized I had placed it too far back. After moving it closer it no longer sticks. Oh and the actually charging capabilities are fantastic. Just make sure to close the vent you flip it on is you have the heater on a it is prone to heating quickly.

Best car charger/mount I have bought. I must admit at first I was confused as to how to make it expand or if it would even expand to fit my phone. Once plugged in it opened right up and gripped my phone really well. Other mounts i have bought couldn't hold my phone and it would fall out but this one holds it in where it's not going anywhere. Also the touch button to release is a nice feature. All around this is definitely a nice buy.
