Hyundai 5 in 1, 52cc Long Reach Petrol Garden Multi Tool with 430mm Grass Trimmer, 425mm Hedge Trimmer, 10" Chainsaw, Brushcutter, 2-Stroke with 3 Year Warranty

Was slightly reluctant to order this due to some poor reviews, but needed it quickly to strim very long grass/brush, cut tree branches and trim hedging. Here is my experience with Hyundai 5 in 1. For the money this works very well. Easy to assemble and very powerful. Strimmer gets through the grass/brush with ease and quickly, auto feed for line works flawlessly and the line is easily changed. Chainsaw and hedge trimmer heads also work very well. Starts easily and was found to be very reliable through use so far.Are there any down sides:1. I would have to say the harness is a bit fidly to use but it does work as intended, I will probably get another harness for it.2. Machine is quite heavy when in use, but I think a better harness would help this alot. Any petrol power hand held machine is expected to have some weight so not unexpected.All in all, sticking with 5 stars as the performance of the machine is exeptional good for the money.

This was the third strimmer/brushcutter that I've purchased. 1st a different Hyundai started once and never again. 2nd an Einhell, started, and then the strimmer wire holder disintegrated and could not be put back together.Purchased this, as thought the Hyundai model was better quality, easier to handle.Was awkward putting together, the lower drive shaft was very difficult to put into the main shaft, but once done I was able to get things up and running first time.Strimmer works very well on grass, small brush, and is very easy to refill, although it is easier to pop the top off the stimmer wire holder to do so.Brushcutter head is very fiddly to fit and get aligned, but when done works very well, but be aware of the kickback, luckily away from the body.The supplied harness is effectively useless, slips on the body and struggles to hold the weight. I have purchased a good quality one from Oregon, which works perfectly.UPDATE: After 2 weeks the unit no longer works. Something has become loose in the engine, clanking noise, when picking up and moving. The attachments no longer spin.Return requested, so far no response.

Only had it a week but it’s Quick and easy to assemble. Used all attachments for fairly heavy duty use and the machine has worked well. Only negatives are quite heavy when using full extensions and the quick connect system doesn’t clamp tightly enough on the attachments or extension bar meaning sometimes they pop out. Relatively minor issue and still think the product is great value for money at this stage

I bought this for basic gardening jobs. It is not a 5 in 1 as there are only 4 tools, an extention pole isnt a tool.Strimmer: very good and easy to set up with provided tools.Hedge trimmer: good but too small for big jobs or medium to big hedges. The angle of the cutters is adjustable but it wont turn sideways which is awkward for trimming certain angles, it means you turn the whole unit for angels (heavy after a while)Brush cutter: very good and powerful for thick bushes.Chainsaw: I haven't tried it as I have a massive chopper. But chain assembly is simple and its a pruning chainsaw, dont expect something choppy chopper.Overall: nice and powerful tool for simple jobs, not for long jobs as it gets heavy really quickly. The strap harness for holding the thing is very poor. Cheap strap material and plastic clips keep slipping. No PPE provided unlike cheaper 5 in 1s, a bit daft as it gets noisy and considering heights you can use it for a risk of falling objects. Some PPE would make this a worthwhile product to purchase but alas none provided. Mixing 2 stroke and petrol is easy with provided bottle. Assembly of tools and to motor is very easy. Starting it up is easy once you know how, the on switch is easy to turn off while turning unit for angles. I only bought it for a strimmer and hedge trimmer, had I known sooner I would have bought seperate tools instead of this but its a dexent tool and works well after buying a better strap.

Hyundai Customer Services / Amazon,I am still waiting to hear from Hyundai concerning the failure of the engine to start. I received a new spark plug & a magneto replacement with no installing instruction, albeit requested. Having had to replace the choke mechanism due to failure, I was hoping to put the devices to work. I am not an engine mechanic, so can Hyundai now arrange to collect this partly used, only 3 hours, unreliable product(I have no suitable box to contain all items for return) & fully refund me.My plan was to ask my Son to use this device instead of bringing his same items that do work! He lives 58 miles from my home. I am now 87yrs with a lot of garden work to be done. So disappointed with what seemed to be a quality purchase through Amazon Services. Ron Long.
