All-Of-A-Kind Family Uptown

The All of a Kind family faces hardship as they confront illness, disappointment and war, and the joys of reunion, birth, and growing up. In their new home they learn about Christian traditions and save for the war effort.

They are just the warmest loving family, just like I remember 50 yrs ago. How thankful I was to be able to share them with my little girl today. We read at bedtime to her.

This book (and it’s series) are great booksThe only thing I don’t like about this series and this book is it always stops so abruptly. But besides that these are great books!

I JUST LOVE ALL THE ALL OF A KIND FAMILY BOOKS. I JUST GOT AND JUST READ THE THIRD BOOK I ALSO HAVE ORDERED THE FOURTH BOOK ALL OF A KIND FAMILY DOWNTOWN. THE FIRST THREE BOOKS ARE WONDERFUL I CAN'T WAIT TO GET THE FOFOURTH AND FIFTH BOOKS, TO READ THEY ARE TURLY WONDERFUL BOOKS BUY THEM AND READ THEM YOU WILL LOVE THEM.

This is a lovely series about a Jewish immigrant family living in New York City.

I read this series as a girl (hardback from my gradeschool library) I loved them so much, when i discovered they were out in paperback, i bought the whole set!!

I read this book as a child. It thrilled me then, and still does now as an adult. I'm so happy to have found this book again.

We love reading this series together as a homeschooling family. The stories are wholesome but also give such a good understanding of history and culture.
