Surprisingly comfortable sleep pad for the backcountry
Ok, so I bought this because it was light and has a good r-value. I was expecting it to be noisy and not particularly comfortable after reading all the reviews, but I was very surprised. First of all, keep it firmly inflated- it is the most comfortable that way (in my experience) and also very quiet. I think the people complaining about the potato chip bag sound was not using this fully inflated. It was also REALLY comfortable, like almost as comfortable as home. I have a bunch of sleeping pads, and truthfully, I was just looking to shed some weight on High Sierra hikes (I'm getting old, and had a few knee surgeries), which it accomplished, but I was very surprised how well I slept. How come no one talks about that aspect of this pad in the reviews? I would say try it- it is really light, warm and comfortable. Just keep it fully inflated, and it is quiet and very comfortable... Oh- it does take a bit of work to inflate, but that would be my only con...

Great premium sleeping pad
Have only used 2 nights on a summit of Granite Peak in Montana. Temps down to 35, in a 18 degree bag, super warm. Very comfortable pad, very light weight. Upgraded from a 16oz pad, and this shaved off 4oz, it’s a noticeable difference. A bit slippery, slid off of it once at night, but that’s an issue with almost every pad. Very satisfied.

Very compact and lightweight; a little narrow and a little noisy.
This is a great, lightweight, and very compact inflatable sleeping pad for backpacking. The pad comes with a carrying sack, a patching kit for small tears or holes, and an airtight bag for inflating the mattress if you don’t want to use your breath. All of those things can roll up and be stuffed into the sack, which takes up very little space in a pack. The valve for inflating and deflating the pad is very easy to use once you understand the mechanics of it, and it’s great that it can be inflated without releasing air, saving you some breaths. But if you’ve never used that style of valve, take a quick read through the instructions to make sure you’re turning the correct parts in the correct direction.I have two minor complaints, but they would not stop me from purchasing a second one of these pads (which I have, in fact, already done). The length of the pad works well and as expected from the item description, but the width is fairly narrow. If you are used to sleeping with arms or legs stretched out at all, you should expect that they will not fit on the pad. The other minor complaint is that the pad is a little noisy, so if you’re sharing a tent with light sleepers, they may wake up if you toss and turn.Very good, over all!

takes a little bit to inflate, but I can fill it before getting light headed.
Nice and light weight small volume for backpackers - held up fine for me for 3 weeks backpacking - important to sleep well out there. A friend of mine got a different one and it leaked

AMAZING! sing praises i slept so good on this thing
y’all. ok. i’m going on the world race(look it up it’s cool😎) and this is the third sleeping pad ive tried for it. i used it camping at bootcamp(5 days) and WOW. i slept so good. i rotate as i sleep and was comfy all night. especially on my side! it packs up SO small and weighs nothing-absolutely perfect for backpacking. it comes with an inflation sack, but honestly it was easier to me to just blow it up by mouth. and it didn’t take long to inflate either! if you’re a racer or camping or whatever i highly recommend this thing! it’s worth the money!!!

worth the upgrade
Finally upgraded from an older neoair that was about 20 oz. This shaves about 8, shrinks the size by about 25%, and loses no comfort. The ease of inflation and deflation alone would have been worth the upgrade. Jury's still out on durability, its construction is noticeably lighter than the last one.

Super light easy to inflate
Super light easy to inflate this is a good purchase it was worth the money. I have bought many mattress This is the best one by far . some people think it's crunchy make a lot of noise. I disagree. It doesn't make very much noise at all. It came with an air inflation bag which I appreciate no more dizzy spells huffing and puffing. It only takes about five bags of air to fill. The valve is new and improved. For ultralight backpacking it is the cats meow !

bought two and one leaked.
I got one for my wife and myself. Light, easy to inflate, very comfortable, but one of them leaked. Tried to patch and that leaked. I guess it's hard to make it light and sturdy at the same time. Will try a different brand for next purchase to see if better quality.
