Color Changing Paint Gold/Orange/Purple/Red Aerosol 3.5

Spaz Stix color change paint is my favorite rc paint. They have a variety of color changing and they all look awesome. From different angles the colors completely change and it's a mind bender. You've gotta be slow and spray light layers, many light layers. Once you back it with black the magic happens and the colors change at angles. Sticks great to my RC bodies, no issues with Spaz Stix paint ever. Absolutely my favorite rc paint.

My body turned out beautifully. It required more coats than I thought it would (around 7), so if you plan on using this for a 1/10 scale rc shell, grab two cans! The black backer truly makes it pop, and I couldn't be happier with the quality of Spaz Stix. Will definitely be getting more from this company in the future!

Pictures does not do it justice and I'm not quite done maybe I can add better picture latter. I used 2 cans on 1/10 scale traxxas monster slash 4×4 and when at an angle and air started to spray I moved to next can. This saved some paint for plastic skid bars and insured more even paint for the body. For the most part you see the purple and gold but when really looking at it there is many colors. Will update if it does not last long but so far impressed. Fyi use a black backer I used high gloss black

Update: seller allowed me to return it I've purchased this paint four times. The first three cans were great but it does require a lot of coats. So I ran out of paint on my most recent project which is actually a pickguard for a guitar and I ordered another can. This can, the fourth can, it's just a cloudy clear spray no color. And yes I was painting it over black which is where I had run out from the previous can I was trying to continue with this can but it not only didn't cover the black it put a cloudy clear smear over the part I had already completed. To my dismay I discovered that I can't return or replace this can of paint that just cost me $18. I have written to the seller and hope that they will replace it but if not I will be out the money and the paint and not be able to finish my project.

If only these cans were bigger & covered more area.... The paint is dynamite! I absolutely love it, and would gladly use it again if it was in a normal sized can! The 3.5 oz cans just don't cover the area I need for painting custom bicycles. BUT... the color-change is amazing, and after a good clearcoat, wetsand, cut, buff, and polish the finish is spectacular!

7 light coats got perfect results.and any high gloss backer will work for color change.5 stars

I tested against a small upside down plastic cup using their black backer paint, and there was not enough in the can to get a sense of how well the paint color looked. It may be great it may not - couldn't get enough out of the can onto an upside down drinking cup to see. Shook the can over 3 minutes before using and frequently while using. It started to show some color shift, but I didn't think I wanted to buy more cans to find out.

Seems many of the negative reviews here are user error. As mentioned on the can, this paint typically requires a dark base or black backer to work properly. It's clear with pearl in it. One real negative though, is this is commonly advertised as rc paint for clear bodies but every spaz painted body I've seen that has been run hard can't keep the paint on it. So while it's cool when applied as intended, consider what you want your paint to do before making a purchase. That said, I wish Amazon would sell this brand again. The other sellers on here charge way too much. Hopefully the nonsense reviews aren't the reason they stopped carrying it. Odd decision.
