I wanted to update my review on this product. After sending an email to Allen at Wellmaking, he went out his way to make things right. He sent me the Bowens mount with expedited shipping and I got it in 2 days which is amazing these days. These guys have top notch customer service! He even sent me some extra accessories for my inconvenience. This light is really awesome, it's so small, light weight and bright you can put it it tight places where others won't fit and it's very portable. The quality of the light is very good, I'm pleased with the color rendition. I'm very happy with this purchase now and would recommend it to anyone who needs a compact high output light source.

These lights are bright and portable for weddingsPROS:Lightweight: These things are lightweight and portable. 3 of these lights can easily fit in your backpackLight quality: As a spotlight to light your wedding speeches, toasts and dances these are amazing, they also have a spotlight effect that focuses the beam of the lights. I don't think these would be good enough to use as a key lightRemote: These do come with a remote that can be handy for dimming and turning off the lights from a distance.Fan Noise: I have several more powerful lights with loud fans, and i must say for a 40 watt light the fans on these things are very quietCONS:Build Quality: These are made out of plastic, so they do get hot very quickly luckily it does have a silent fan to help with the heat: Also be careful if you put the warm diffusers, or regular diffusers that comes with the lights directly on the light it will get melted, I wanted to test how long the batteries would last and by the time the batteries died the heat had melted both diffusers. **workaround** attach the bowens mount and use a reflector then you can add an orange CTO to get a warmer look*Battery: I used the large sony npf batteries and was able to get close to an hour with these, if you are using this at a reception your best bet would be to plug it into an outletI sent the lights back but customer service was so amazing and they sent one right away!Overall if you were using these as spotlights at a wedding to light your speeches or toasts i'd recommend it becuase the pros outweigh the cons!

The media could not be loaded.  Use these everywhere!I really love this video light. I felt the HL-400 is so multi use. I used it to photo products, the quality of its color and brightness are outstanding. HL-400C is also nice for studio light. Also very important this light is very quiet and you can use it in video recording and interviews. It is very portable and lightweight to use it outdoor. And i even can use many our existing bowens accessory on this light, I strongly suggest this light. I’m super impressed with these and recommend these to anyone.

When a battery was plugged in, and the light was turned on. The unit started smoking with an odd smell. This is a potential fire hazard.I instantly returned the productWhen plugged to the wall using official charger the light would flash briefly and turn off.

I shoot weddings and needed to replace my existing led panel lights. I found Wellmaking LED Light and there was not much information about the product so decided to get it and test it out myself. I bought 40W version and wasn't sure if it was bright enough. It's bright enough to light a very dim reception and remote control works flawlessly. I liked it so much that I ordered another one.

This light is very bright and very portable making it versatile for location work. I use this and a couple others like a Forza for stills and video and I do some projects that require both. Very happy and they make an 80 watt one as well so if I need more light I would probably buy that one as well.

This light is bright, but not adequate for outdoor fill. Well built and light weight with smaller battery. With np 750 or 950 a little heavy for on-camera use. However, I am sure it will be a valued piece of equipment for most.

Product was received as advertised. It is small, powerful, bright and can be battery or dc powered. I do corporate hybrid shooting and i prefer lightweight equipment. This light is perfect for my requirements. I want to get the 80w and use that for bigger projects. Highly reccomend for video production work.
