Osiris NYC 83 SLM Skate Shoe (Little Kid/Big Kid)

Bought for 8 year old boy in 3rd grade. He likes the color pink and wanted some pink shoes. He loves them a lot. These shoes aren't really athletic shoes, they are a bit thicker/puffier and taller than I thought but that's not necessarily a bad thing. He uses his other shoes on gym class days but he could use these if he had to. The shoes are a very bright color pink, almost electric or neon. The shoes have held up really nice and are very cool. I might even buy another color for myself.For anyone comparing sizes, we got him size 4 and he is quite tall for his age. We got the 7 year old in 1st grade size 2 shoes. They fit each kid well.

Got these for my 6 y.o daughter .. they looked kind of halloweenie so I didn't know if I liked em much, but got at a good price .. But they came and she looks super cool in them .. they are really padded on the inside, sewn well .. and she can run super FAST in them :) .. and to top it off the Black is Rainbow at certain angles .. almost like oil .. LOVE THEM :) (black/purple/green)

I can never go wrong with Osiris. We got the Pink/Turquoise size 1 for a 7yr old. They were tight at first but, that's to be expected. They give the right amount of cushion and support. They are a little bulky, that is also to be expected. Like most skate shoes they molded to her feet within the week. I've been buying Osiris since I was a 16yr. old skater, they go the distance and then some. I was super excited to find such a "girly girl" shoe. And yes the laces are ribbons, which does make it a little hard them keep them tied. Also, the tag on the tongue cut into her chin, it was quickly fixed with a band aid. So I suggest long socks or pants at first. That's the only reason I didn't give 5 stars.

I love these shoes. They're crazy comfortable, they look great, and they were CHEAP when I ordered them. I have weird shaped feet (short and wide) so I pretty much always have to buy kids' shoes. My adult size is a women's 6 wide (which no one carries) and the kids' 5 fits great. I actually could probably go down a half size, but they're super comfy so I'm not worried about it.

We just realized long after our purchase that the pair of shoes we bought were not the same size.We ordered a size 12 and when we just went to get new shoes and I checked the size, I noticed that one shoe was a 12 and the other shoe was an 11 with a 12 hand written in pen. Upon further examination, the shoes are clearly different sizes.Very disappointing!

I teach dance fitness classes and these shoes are so comfortable! I own another pair as well and they hold up nicely. I originally ordered a big kids size 6 because I read that size was comparable to a women's size 7 but they were WAAAY too big. I had to send those back and get a size 5. they fit but if they came in half sizes I would have order a 4.5 but the 5 is fine.

The quality is good, have good looking, but it was way too long, I have asked for a size 4, and one of the shoes have a 6, and then scratch with a pen on top with the number 4, weird, but real, and I bet both shoes where 6 instead 4. That's it.

I bought these as a birthday gift for my daughter. She insisted that all the cool kids had these shoes. So I picked a color I thought she would like and surprised her with a pair. She loves them! And the sizing is spot on.They come with a second set of laces in pink, but she says she likes the black ones.They are priced reasonably. Much better than similar skate shoes from other brands. And I have the added bonus of a very happy daughter!
