Ordered 7 pairs and received them a week earlier than estimated delivery date. The socks are rated at 2.34 togs ('typical averages' for other thermal socks given as 1.50 and cotton socks as 0.40 togs respectively). Having chilblains in both feet and being diabetic isn't a great combination, so I wore 2 pairs initially and had no problem fitting into slippers or shoes. Feet now comfortably warm (wearing 1 pair), and I use another pair as 'night socks' when I go to bed. Donning 2 pairs under training shoes when using my exercise bike makes exercising so much more comfortable as well as protecting my toes! And they don't make my feet 'sweat' at all. Recommended.

They were so warm and soft, absolutely loved them. Unfortunately they weren’t very robust. I needed them to help me stop my new killer Docs from grating my feet like Parmesan. Sadly they were not able to withstand me doing 10000 steps in the Deadly Docs and wore out at the Achilles area

Coldest January in 10 years. These socks, with a silk liner, are perfect. Near knee high, warm and soft, they keep the chill off which, as I get older, affects me moreso. A very good purchase and led me to buy another pair. Silk liners are excellent additions, providing even greater warmth and comfort whilst protecting the sock and allowing greater space between washings.

I bought some of these for a trip to Iceland as I knew I'd be outside trying to view the Northern Lights for hours. As I expected it was really cold and I had some long johns on under my clothes and a double thick coat, scarf, hat gloves etc. My feet were lovely and warm even if the rest of me got a tad cold in places, so I can say for sure that these worked for me. Yes they are very thick but they compress down nicely when I put my walking boots on so I had no issues fitting the boots on over these.

They do make your feet warm, which is a plus. The down side is that not long after your feet feel as though you're walking in a marsh. Perhaps meant as indoor socks for general house use, but not good for doing any extraneous walking.

i bought these socks as i work in the security field, socks are a little on the thick side but it is the thickness that allows the warmth to sat within the sock. feel very soft and warm to wear if u do order these make sure u have a shoe size slightly bigger so ur feet have space otherwise it is a tight squeeze .would recommend

I was searching for warm socks for my husband and read the reviews on this product, was quite impressed so straight away ordered 3 for my first order! Honestly, these must be the best winter socks I've ever purchased. They are cushioned so really comfy to wear especially as the inner lining is soft. Truly keeps your feet warm all day. Am sure to be buying more!

im a disabled double amputee, 1 arm & 1 leg, so when i go out i have to use a wheelchair, i was having a lot of trouble with a cold foot untill i bought these socks, they're great & keep my foot lovely & warm & i get 2 for the price of one!!!! if you want to save some money get a foot cut off & get 2 for 1 on socks, a great money saver!!!!!!!!!!

Très épais et extrêmement doux à l'intérieur, c'est très agréable au toucher. Je recommande pour passer l'hiver les pieds au chaud

Zugegeben, ich trage die Heat Holders jetzt erst seit Januar. Aber seitdem wirklich ständig. Ich besitze zwei Paar, die ich jetzt bei dem kalten Wetter immer anhabe (Tags und Nachts ;-)). Sie halten gut und haben keine Abnutzungserscheinungen. Dabei sind sie unglaublich warm. Klar, wenn mit eisigen Füssen sie anzieht, werden die Füße auch nicht - wie durch ein Wunder - warm. Aber sie halten sehr gut die Wärme. Das muss diese spezielle Mischung aus Kunststoffen sein. Glücklicherweise schwitzen die Füße aber nicht. Und die Socken riechen auch nicht schnell. Eher weniger schnell als in anderen Socken. (Ich habe sie durchaus schon mal 4 Tage am Stück an). Die Größe ist mir mit Schuhgröße 42 zu groß. Ich hatte sie extra größer gekauft um sie in den Trockner geben zu können, habe aber beim Erhalt gelesen, das man das nicht tun soll. So trockene ich sie auf der Heizung bzw. Wäscheständer. Sie brauchen in Schuhen schon Platz. Da ich mir aber Winterschuhe eh immer eine Nummer größer kaufe (um eben warme Socken anziehen zu können), ist das für mich kein Problem.

J'apprécie ces chaussettes car elles sont vraiment plus chaudes que la normale. La différence se fait sentir ! Bien sûr, ce n'est pas forcément confortable dans nos chaussures, car elles sont plus épaisses que les chaussettes habituelles. Elle font donc leur job... sauf que malheureusement, à l'intérieur le tissu (en acrylique je pense) se détache un peu, cela forme des petites boules et c'est (1) un peu désagréable et (2) parfois on l'enlève car ça gêne... Mis à part ça, ça reste bien sur le moment. A confirmer sur le long terme !

Ideal for cold winter and works fine below zero temperatures. it is very warm and good product. The delivery from the UK was fast.
