Very lightweight, caution heavier riders
Update : cannot support 220lb even with a new clamp, and cf friction gel. Seat will still wiggle loose and slide down. There are grooves Etched into the seatpost now which tells me that just tightening the clamp 1) will eventually ruin it and 2) doesn't actually helpOriginal review:I bought two of these seat post, one for my bike and one for my wife's bike after both of ours were stolen. Both are identical appearance, and quality.We've had them for about two weeks and mine will not stay secure for more than 20-30 min of riding. I am a heavier rider at 220lb so it may not be reliable or safe for heavier riders. I even ordered a new seat post clamp and after 20 min of riding the seat post begins swiveling and sliding down which ruins the riding position. I've never had this issue with any other cf seat post and my wife's seat post has not had to be adjusted (i.e. It doesn't start to come loose or swivel)It's like the cf material is not able to handle the weight of a rider even when clamped as tight as possible into the seat post tube. I'll either need to order a better quality seat post or mount a bolt through the frame and seat post to keep it from moving (not a fan of option 2).4 stars because it's light and my wife has zero issues with hers

caution but still decent
okay so i just wanna start off by saying this did not fit the bike i had ordered it for, my 95 fuji which has a seatpost diameter that matches up with this items description. i couldnt get it to slide down the frame and did not want to force it. however i lucked out and it fits on my trek excaliber8 mtb so not a total loss for me. minus one star for it not fitting correctly even though ive ordered the proper sizing. get what you pay for

Definitely worth buying if your seatpost isnt carbon!
Real carbon seatpost at an amazing price reduced the seat post weight on my bike in half and is super sturdy!
