PRIMECOM Level 2 Electric Vehicle (EV) Charger (220V / 240Volt, 16Amp) Portable EVSE Smart Electric Car Charger, 30 Feet (14-30P Charger)

I have been using this charger for a couple of weeks now and it works great, both with 110v and 220. It came with an adaptor to charge from the dryer hookup outlet at 240 volt. However I had to buy another one from the Nema 5-30 to the 110 outlet 5-15.Cable to the car charging port side is very thick and does not overheat at the max rated amperage of 16A.I would give it 5 stars had it not been for the already reported tight tolerance fit of the SAE J1772 connector, which it's true is a little uncomfortable at first, but then it's a matter of learning the trick to move it slightly to ease the process.

Great charger, works well only one problem. when they designed the plug for the vehicle, they placed the where the 2 halves of the plastic shell so that the latch cannot close to hold the plug in the car. i have asked them about this and they ignored the problem.The company totally ignored my report of the problem, even a year later. other than that it works fine

This item works great and of course there is no comparison between a Level I and a Level II charger. Level II really is at least 4 times faster.I have a 2017 FIAT 500e and I am very satisfied. I had an electrician run the 240 volt installation with the 16 Amp option. After testing he said it is actually supplying 245 volts and using about 15 Amps. Naturally I don’t understand any of that but I am very happy with the outcome. 😜😀🤓
