SAC Poultice Powder (2.2 Lb) Powder to remove organic stains such as oil, grease, butter and other non-acid stains from most marble, granite, travertine, limestone & other porous natural stones

We had a banana go bad in our wire fruit basket which was placed on our travertine, sideboard countertop. The rotted banana seeped onto the countertop before we noticed. (Apparently, there’s a fine line between ripening bananas for banana bread and staining your travertine countertop. Lesson learned!)This product worked as promised and removed the stain from the travertine. It was easy to use and I highly recommend it.

I followed instructions, mixed with bleach to form paste, coated stain and covered with plastic overnight, but stain on my marble table top looks exactly the same. When I scraped the paste off, there was no discoloration to any of the paste, as it had not absorbed any stain. Save your money and look up how to make poultice with baking soda or powder to clean stone if you want to try to remove stain this way.

This stuff really works. A bottle of face cream left and unsightly yellow ring on our white marble bathroom countertop. I followed the instructions (in my case, using with bleach as recommended) and left it on for eight hours. The stain was entirely gone. This will not work for etching which needs to be polished out but it does remove the stains. I imagine that more severe l and darker stains could need multiple treatments, but this definitely worked for us!

There was no change before or after the use. Followed the instructions precisely. I gave it three stars because perhaps the polish marble wasn’t the type of floor this product was designed for

I would never have granite countertops again. They are too much work you to keep perfect. I could get some stains out with baking soda & hydrogen peroxide. This took out other stains & some I can’t get rid of

Disappointing. Didn’t budge the stain.

I was very happy with the results of this cleaner. I've been trying to get dark spots out of the shower stone tiles since I moved here 3 years ago. Tried every cleaner I could and put hours of scrubbing in with no results.Decided to try the Poultice cleaner, it sounded too easy though. I mixed it into thick paste using bleach, dabbed it on using rubber gloves, I kind of massaged it into the stone a little too, then covered it with plastic taped to the wall around it, and left it for probably 18 hours. I took off the plastic and used a wet sponge to remove the now dried paste. Finally I just rinsed it down with the shower head.Some spots needed a second treatment, but overall the shower has never looked this good.The instructions mention spraying it with another product, but I skipped this step and next will just use sealer on the entire shower stall.

Found an unknown stain on my sealed white marble countertop. Unknown timeframe, but probably at least 2 months it had been there. I first tried baking soda+water x 24 hours without any change in the stain. On a wing and a prayer I bought this and used as directed. The stain is almost non-existent. I had very low expectations from previous reviews of this product, but very happy with the results! Pictures are before, treatment of one side, then after full treatment x 2.
