Exactly as described. Nice design, easy to us, store, and carry. Great price point, light weight, and easy to collapse, but sturdy. The poles come in a nice storage bag with a variety of tips for your poles, so you can adjust to the different types of terrain. The collapsed poles fit nice in my hiking pack and also have sturdy hand/wrist straps if you want to carry them. If you get stuck on the functionality, watch the easy to follow videos for setting the proper height, and locking in and collapsing the poles. This will help to prevent injury and ensure proper use.

Very impressed with these light-weight and very strong Hiking Poles, as I recently hiked and CLIMBED DOWN AND THEN BACK UP a very difficult HIGH DIFFICULTY Trail to a waterfall in Puerto Rico. I absolutely could not have made it down, let alone back up without the assistance of these very sturdy poles; that then easily fold into a small bag. I weigh around 290 lbs! I now use them for walking around my hilly urbanization roads that are asphalt as they do help give you that extra PUSH and stability. Plus a great defense against any aggressive animal. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE POLES TO ALL. I WAS NOT COMPENSATED FOR THIS REVIEW!!!

I bought these for a trip where air travel was involved. The tri-fold design and good ratings sold me. Good: Cork handles. This is a nice feature, usually found on more expensive poles. Tri-fold, with captive sections. Super convenient when folded down. Fit easily in my luggage. Price was very competitive for features and quality. Solid build. All of the components feel solid and I'm not worried the poles will break down on the trail. Bad: Weight. Actually, not a big deal. The materials and cable add some weight. Nothing that makes a huge difference while hiking. Tri-fold design. I'm not sure how to improve it, but the sliding section that takes up the slack in the captive cable can come loose while hiking. On an 8 mile section my partner accidently kicked the pole and the sliding section popped off of the static section, causing the pole to fold. This happened twice. This isn't a huge problem, but it was inconvenient. I know... the answer is don't kick your pole, but you've been tired on the trail, it happens. Overall: I'm still giving this set 4 stars. The price was good and it travels easily. It did the job and didn't fail. If someone wanted a more travel friendly set of trekking poles, I would happily point them in this direction.

This review is just based on out of box experience. I have not had a chance to go for a hike with these trekking poles. They seem to be very well built. They are indeed light weight but very sturdy. The locking mechanism is of good quality and I expect it to be very durable. The poles come in a nice bag with several attachments for different terrain. The handel grips are made of cork which based on my limited research are better choice over other synthetic materials.

Light weight, foldable and easily height adjustable. Great for my balance as a senior with hip issues who is now able to walk on the beach. Only problem was the assembly instructions were poor. Locking of the parts together was not well explained. Had to view a YouTube video that really helped.

These are excellent trekking poles. They are so easy to snap together - just unfold it and pull from the handle! Not like the others where you need to line them up just so before they'll do you the favor of snapping into place. I've taken these on a few hikes and they seem sturdy and well made.

I've used these trekking poles twice when doing Rim to Rim across the Grand Canyon and they worked flawlessly. They are super light, but support a lot of weight. I'm about 270 lbs and never felt like these would collapse when leaned on or bend and break. I also loved how easily they could be folded up and stored away. Lots of color options made it so my wife could get the color she liked as well. If you're gaining a lot of elevation and doing a lot of steps, these are a godsend on the knees and other muscles, allowing you to assist your legs with your upper body.

TREKOLOGY Trek-Z Cork Grip Trekking Poles were great to go hiking on both muddy and gravely trails, at times steep or with bigger rocks. They were lightweight, added stability, the hand grips were comfortable and not slippery, and they fit in my backpack when walking through towns and villages. I did not try the different kinds of tips, but did not need them on my trip. Highly recommend them. They are of good quality and are a good value for the money. If I ever try El Camino de Santiago I will surely take these poles.

These poles are great! I needed a pair to travel OS with and be able to pack down for the travel, but still be sturdy and able to handle rough terrain. These are great poles, they pack down and assemble easily and very straightforward. They're strong and handled technical, steep and rocky terrain, as well as gentle grassy areas. The cork grips and wrist handles are great, they're light and also stylish and the bag and added fittings are also great. The mud caps worked a treat, and the spikes held the ground and rocks well. I couldn't have been happier with this purchase and will be buying more for Christmas gifts.

got to say this is really good just like what everyone else says. too many out there but just get this. the ONE hiking stick to use.

Me gustaron mucho estos bastones de senderismo, son cómodos, ligeros, plegables, fáciles de guardar y transportar, su construcción sólida, bien terminados, diseño atractivo y traen varios accesorios para usar en función del terreno que 'vayas a atacar'. Hace casi medio año sufrí un esguince severo de tobillo, y los he usado no como equipo ortopédico sino como apoyo para caminar estable y seguro, y me han parecido fabulosos. Seguramente cuando me recupere totalmente los disfrutaré aún más en las travesías de fin de semana. Muy recomendables para los entusiastas del 'outdoors' !

Primero: Las reseñas que dicen que este suelto, los cables no son acero, que son débiles: No es asi. El montaje no es obvio, pero luego si lógico: Hay que juntar las piezas y después subir con ganas la parte más arriba hasta que salga el botoncito metálico. Ahora se queda tieso como Dios manda. Ahora se puede ajustar la altura de la parte arriba con un mecanismo de clip, lo cual también es ajustable. No pesan nada, son cómodos y tienen un sistema de ajustar la cinta de mano ideal. Traen todo tipo de puntas, y el corcho tiene un tacto agradable. Estoy encantado, cosa que no es fácil, de verdad muy recomendable por mi parte.
