For collectors of psychedelic 60's, It's sometimes hard to find collections that go deeper than the standard psychedelic hits standard collections. I really enjoy this collection because it allows me to go deeper into psychedelic forest and hear original songs and covers that I didn't hear back in the days of limited radio play. I enjoy making playlists of my own and enjoy digging deeper in to whatever genre that I'm working on and discovering songs & artists that I wasn't aware of. A couple of interesting covers here (to me) The Stones "She's A rainbow" by the Glass menagerie and "Hot Smoke & Sassafras by The Mooche (originally by Bubble puppy) As Far as new or original songs & groups ; that would be for you to enjoy and choose. But a couple that stood out to me were Episode Six and The Glass Menagerie ,which made me want to perhaps pursue their CDs. All in all a very nice collection for fans who want to wander past the norm (if there is any when it come to Psych?) 40 pop-pysch gems from our cousins across the pond! I own a dozen or more '60s-70s British psychedelic comps, and this is by far the best, in terms of quality and rarity of selections, and price. If you're a fan of this genre and period, you'll love Psychedelic 60s!

I had hoped for more audio joy-- high notes, low notes, crazy inventive moog types notes, everywhere else notes. I heard none of that, rather flat actually. Cuts were from generally little-known groups, all of them OK but nothing that dazzled.

A double CD of 60s psychedelic music, mostly from bands I had never heard of before. All of the music chosen for this release is of excellent quality and well is produced. There are no clunkers here. It's a fantastic addition to my collection of 60s obscurities!

There are so many 60's psychedelic collections it is increasingly hard to keep track. That being said, this 2 CD 40 track budget collection of late 60's UK pop psych is excellent. Although you will probably have most of these tracks, this playlist flows with no misses or filler.

Great songs from a great era . Well known bands with songs not regularly heard. Definitely a cult era with a lot of experimental sounds from groups you would not expect.
