There aren't alot of main dishes and sides to choose from compared to other similar cookbooks, but where this book shines is the desserts. This is one of my main go to cookbooks for sweet stuff, even when its not the festive season. This cookbook has more desserts than many dessert specific cookbook and the desserts aren't too rich, overly sweet, bland, complicated or bland. If your favorite part of the holidays or meal time for that matter is the after dinner treats then this book will not disappoint.

First of all, let me say there are many yummy looking recipes in this value pack that I look forward to trying out. There is a good variety of all types of recipes, which is nice to see.There are two reasons I deducted a star from my rating. One is that some of the recipes needed to be checked for omissions. One of the recipes states to use half of the crushed peppermints, but it never says what to do with the other half. There is a recipe that calls for a package of cream cheese but doesn't state what size package is needed. These are just two of the problems that caught my attention. There many be more, that I don't remember at the moment. The second reason for deducting one star, is that some of the recipes containing condensed milk come directly out of the Eagle Brand Condensed Milk cookbook, which is a copyrighted book, yet no credit is given as to where these recipes come from. Credit should be given where credit is due.Were it not for the two reasons stated above, I would have given this e-book a five star rating. I look forward to trying out many of these recipes in days ahead.

This tome should be added to your library. The sheer mass of it guarantees something for everyone. Not every recipe will be a homerun for each user's specific tastes, but with the enormity of choices, it will still be a great cookbook for nearly everyone. And this author regularly offers her cookbooks free! Of course, I still believe it would constitute a good BUY. I'm one of those "no shortcuts" people, but there are more than enough choices for me. And if you welcome shortcuts, there are plentiful options for you. This one is worth owning.

Lots of good, down to earth recipes. I am enjoying them. I have even shared several friends and family. They all love them.

This is probably the only book you'll ever need to make cookies. I can't wait to try some of these.

Freebie - you get what you paid for...

No pictures. Pretty common and basic recipes, with generally common ingredients. Lots of dessert recipes, some of which sound interesting.This appears to be one of the better beginner cookbooks, and I was pleased to be able to download it for free. I've actually earmarked a few to try in the near future.

I so love the fact that all of these recipes are in one book, making it so much more condensed and easy to find the recipes on my Kindle. And it was free on top of that, which was an extra bonus. Looking forward to trying some of these!!

This made Christmas much easier with easy to follow instructions and very tasty results. Very happy family makes it worth the effort hands down.
