You have a different key for each door with Kwikset 660 Re-key technology. It also has SmartKey One Key Convenience - you can re-key your locks yourself so all your doors and padlocks share one key.

Q: Can you rekey with a non-kwikset key?

It must be kwikset style but can be made by anyone. Will not Work with Schlage style keys.

Q: If i buy 3 1-packs can I re-key them all to the same key? My current deadbolts are kwikset so I'm hoping installations will be easy.

Yes any smart key lock can be changed to any kwikset key.

Q: Can I re-key a Yale Y1?

As long as it has that little cup beside the key you can re-key it
