The blue cable works which is either included or can be bought separately from the same vendor depending on your purchase option.*********************I bought several of these after purchasing the original Olight 1R. Not having to remove and possibly lose the top in this version for charging was an improvement, however, this means the top can cause connection issues with a micro usb charging cable. You might have to try a few before you get one that is narrow enough not to be loose.Out of 5 purchased, 1 was faulty and was returned. Although it was in the original unopened package, unlike the others the torch was switched to fully on with no charge. When charged, turning the torch on would only work part of the time. This connection issue might be what some others have attributed to the torch's battery losing its charge.Time will tell whether the other 4 torches will last under use or whether they will develop issues.

Absolutely love this torch, so much so that I've bought another 3 of them and have them on each of our keyrings (we live in a rural area where it can be absolutely pitch black so having a torch to hand is essential). It really is tiny, just 40mm long and 15mm diameter, but it really does throw out an enormous quantity of light. Give it a clockwise twist and it gives a decent 'low' beam. Another clockwise twist and it's in 'high' beam, and it very impressive. Turn it all the way anti-clockwise and the body springs open to reveal the micro USB charging port. The great thing about this over previous mini Olights I've owned is that the torch doesn't fall apart - I've nearly lost the head of others a number of times as it would simply unscrew off.

Permanently on my keys now. I used to have one of those AAA ones, but I'm slowly moving away from those towards rechargeable for everyday use. Can't fault it really! I was concerned at first that it might twist in my pocket, but I've had it for ages and it's been on my keys (full of other gadgets!) in trousers, jackets and bags and so far it's never turned on, even on hikes or jogs on uneven ground, etc where it's getting jostled around. Good and bright, lasts plenty long enough for random incidental uses. Of course, if you're going for a nighttime walk then another "proper" torch is your default, but this is a solid backup.

This is a really good thing to have for emergencies, I have put it straight on my work keyring and it gets used in a warehouse environment all the time, battery on low brightness will last a couple of days of regular use as a back up light source and the high power is excellent and will beat even cheap pocket torches. I like the smooth circular beam there is no hot spot and it makes finding your way very safe.

Tiny enough for me to keep on my car and door key chain, and I've used it for months (of course, only for a tiny while). So far, haven't needed to recharge it at all! Bought two keeping one at home. Wonderful!

Bought one of these to put on a set of lock keys, as its hard to see the locks when it gets dark. I found it rasy to use, reliable and a really good design. Ended up buy a second one for another set of keys.

Lovely little keyring light. Ended up buying 3, 1 for my wife's car keys and 1 each for my kids. The lower lumens settings is good for most closer tasks and the brighter setting is impressive for a such a small torch. The USB charging is convenient as you don't need to change batteries.

So amazed by this little keyring torch, looks good and very bright. Arrived a lot quicker than expected and was very impressed! Will definitely be ordering from this company again.
