I am unable to convert my range hood light to a plug and play (yea right) energy efficient bulb. This solved the problem.

Didnt work

Replaced a non-functioning starter.

This product was dead out of the box. I confirmed that it's the starter's fault by swapping in another FS-U starter into the same light ballast which worked. Not even worth the effort to return it for $6, which I suspect they expected from customers. Amazon needs better vetting of the people they allow to sell products.

Mislabeled. Needed 4-30W. Bag says 4-30W. Starter says 4-80W. Everything else is the same as the starters being replaced. I'm not an expert on starters, so this may be fine in practice. HOWEVER, they didn't work. Removed working starter from another fixture. That worked. These didn't.

I have two identical fixtures with one not working. Identified the condenser as the problem by swapping. Unfortunately this new one did not work in either so I am returning. The company needs better quality control testing before shipping out.

Worked as needed!
